Decent little place, my sons HDMI port had broken due to accidental fall, I messaged these quite late at night asking for prices, they gave me 2 prices depending on what potentially needed doing.
I dropped it in at around 10am and picked it up around 12ish, they charged me the lowest, when realistically they could have over charged me and said they did more work than they actually did.
They even checked my sons laptop charging port for free also, and diagnosed the issue

Absolutely do not recommend. They smashed my mams phone and tried to fix it but luckily we called, the old guy tried to frame her. Sadly, it was all on a call. He was going on and on about how he tried suicide and we were like how is that on us so anyway he is ordering her a new phone and also called her cheap. I brought my Sony Xperia 10 III to The Tech Surgery on the afternoon of 22 February 2025. The phone was fully functional except for a faulty power button that did not bounce back when pressed. The phone was on and working when I handed it over.
They initially suspected the button was loose and immediately opened the phone by applying heat. After inspection, they said the button wasn’t loose after all and ordered a replacement part.
On 27 February , they messaged me to bring the phone back for a second inspection. After opening it again, they said they had ordered the wrong part, explaining that there are six different types of power buttons for this phone model. Considering that they had already opened the device and examined the part, ordering the wrong component seemed highly unprofessional.
On 5 March, they opened the phone for the third time. After installing the new power button, the phone wouldn't power on. They then claimed the issue was actually with a blown fuse on the motherboard and said this was the reason the power button failed. This was concerning—after two prior repairs targeting the button, they were only now identifying a different root cause. I had no way to know whether the motherboard issue existed beforehand or occurred during their repairs. They assured me they would send the device to a lab for motherboard repair and said it could be fixed.
On 14 March, I texted to ask for an update. The assistant said the manager would call me. I replied that I wouldn’t be able to take calls and requested text updates instead. They agreed.
However, on 17 March, the manager called anyway and left a voicemail saying the phone could not be repaired. This contradicted their earlier claim that the motherboard could be fixed. The assistant later said the manager had to call because of network issues that prevented text messaging, while the manager said they were not supposed to use text messages at all due to company policy. Their explanations were inconsistent.
I picked up my phone on 22 March. It was completely dead. Then, on 29 March, I noticed the SIM card tray had been broken—something that wasn’t an issue before the repair.
Throughout the process, they repeatedly changed their assessment of the problem, failed to communicate consistently, and took steps before clearly diagnosing the issue. As a result, my phone went from partially functional to completely unusable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this repair shop.

I would highly recommend these guys. I had a quite complex issue with my OLED Switch and they were completely transparent about timescales, pricing, and were happy to answer any questions I had over the phone or in person. Even when I had a follow up issue it was repaired quickly and without charge. Out of all of the tech repair shops I’ve used this business sits head and shoulders above the rest.

I took my Xbox x in for a hdmi port repair and Rob, took it in and repaired it. It was finished in not longer then one hour after I’d been told of countless other places they would have to keep it for a week! Prices were 10 x better than everyone else on top of this! Couldn’t thank Rob and the Tech Sugery enough highly recommend!
