Heaven of snow near to nainital huge property fully covered by snow....nice options for kids play and food ....enjoyed a lot ...became ine of the sight seen poi t near nainital. Nice resturant and staff. tasty food ...children enjoyed a lot in play area covered fully with snow

HOLIDAYS We stayed for two nights in mid November 2019. The views of Himalaya and the valley are amazing. The property is very well spread out with a lot of trees. The food was good. Staff very polite and helpful.

Monsoon in hills We were a group on 25 ppl . Booked ourselves with the property well in advance . We knew it is not a 4-5 star property ,but on reaching there we found it to be way below the standard. Though the surroundings of the hotel are charming, it has fruit trees all around , the quality and the condition of the cottages was not very good. The sheets were stained, there was a stinking smell in most of the rooms , the bathrooms were faulty , the water supply was erratic . We had three meals at the hotel which were very very average. The room service takes forever beacause the cottages are spread far and wide on the property and the staff has to reach you on a motorised vehicle. The only saving grace was the tents which we were offered later at night. Our kids used that to party . The manager Mr Bakshi was accommodating enough, he understood our problems and tried his best to solve . The hotel has pool table , air hockey and a two lane bowling alley which was very well used by our group . We were to stay there for three days but bailed out ourselves and moved to another hotel further up the hills.

Great place for families Went to their restaurant for afternoon ! Well maintained ! Seems lot of activities for kids and families. Spectacular views of the valley Food was ok , I am sure you can get same quality elsewhere also. Muffin was not fresh especially when we talk of bakery which is affiliated to Swiss name ?!

Leisure Trip We booked 4 room 2 through make my trip and 2 through Agora from 26th June to 30th June for 4 nights.It was no resort rather apartment after 6 hairpin bends. Big disappointment Breakfast,lunch and other facilities were on left side of road and apartment were on right side up after 6 hairpin bends at 7th hairpin bend.No facility at apartments for everything you have to come down.Staff was co-operative and specially Mr. Bakshi was quite co-operative.

Best Hotel It,s great place to stay. Service and facilities offer are very good. It,s best hotel to stay. I will plan to visit again. The only resort having bowling alley in the region. Enough space for kids to play.huge resort with adiquate facilities.

A great find in the heart of Mukteshwar We loved the Hotel The Swiss Village as we went with the thought that we are going to hills. the location can't be beat! We had a spacious room for 4 with beautiful views and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff.the peacefull place.We will definitely plan a return stay on our next visit!

Isolated place Improper planning, no restaurant connected with the rooms, We don’t like the property very much coz. They turn off the outside lights at 7.30 so it’s all dark outside ur room. So that h can’t think to go outside it’s so scary. Staff is no so good. No telephone working to talk to reception or house keeping. He provide the mobile number that is very unpractical. Sometimes network drops. Rooms are not very good. Desi types of rooms and not at all worth it. Can get better hotel or resort in less price also. We won’t come here to stay with them again. Bowling is paid not free. We didn’t get a feel that I m in the Swiss village , as we saw lot of ads on roads. Nothing like that. Restaurant. Games and fun zone is beautiful no doubt..

Perfect place in nature I stayed to this resort for couple of days with my family. Absolutely amazing place for food, rooms. Hospitality was amazing. Food Quality and taste was also very nice. kids play zones are their USP as your kids would be amazed to see some gaming stations at such a place. Staff was very supportive and courteous.

Nice Surrounding Location is nice surrounded with Apple & Peach orchards, view & the weather is excellent. regarding hotel they need to be more professional & leave the casual attitude, the hotel has been advertised beautifully but not up to the mark as seen in the website.

Terrible Service and No proper facilities Pathetic service and no proper amenities in the room and even Resort staff are not friendly and cooperative and even they don't provide room service in the room. The distance between room and restaurant is nearly 2.5 km so overall this resort in not recommended from my side.

Stayed with friends Amazing place to stay with the nature. I have stayed with my friends in the swiss village and had a amazing experience of real beauty of nature. Morning View from our cottage was mind blowing. The staff of swiss village were always like a family member to us. Only thing is the cottages are not near to the reception/restaurant area but yes if you have your car with you its very much reachable to your cottage door. I will recommend this amazing place to all my friends and colleagues.

Feedback from a MICE Companysending groups there... I have sent two smallish groups to this resort. On both occasions there were issues. The first time, there was water in the tents and accommodation had to be changed to cottages. This was informed to us by the voters. Not the resort.The second time round a family of 12 were refused lunch after checking in on the afternoon- early evening. Only after a row was lunch served. The GM, Harish, when we tried to solve the problem, was shockingly crude and extremely aggressive. We were told to not to send guests there and that he's a 400crore property GM, with no time for agents sending him business working on small time commission!!. It's sad that such an uncouth man can even be close to the service industry. The only respite was Pooja Rana who managed to inform me our guests were ok. Never ever again will any group be recommended this place from us. Disgusting attitude by an extremely arrogant GM who doesn't seem too know anything at all about what is happening in his resort or have any basic sense of propriety.

Very good place for family I had a 2 days stay at this hotel with my family. It includes everything such as club & fun activities. We loved delicious food at the resort. My family was so happy there that they asked me to extend this stay for another two days. Would love to go again & again.

Great Experience Spent two days in this hotel.Unique & quite different from other Hotels. Staff was so kind & supportive.They took us to the complete tour of this site which we really enjoyed. Even a good place to invest upon as well as they are also selling some residential apartments also.

Wonderful view of Himalayan range.. Beautiful place with a panoramic view of whole Himalayan peeks. Very well managed and beautifully structured resort with mouth watering food in the oak park restaurant.. cloud falls from top of the mountain and the land surounded with sparkling green apple peach trees makes the place feel like heaven on earth.

Beautiful nature resort..!! Have recently visited the swiss village with my family . Had a awesome stay considering the rains we were quite comfortable with the staff as they assist us with umbrellas while entering the resort.The restaurant oak park serving delicious dishes with so many menu choices , elegant choices with very friendly restaurant staff Chandan kamal always ready to assist u with everything. Kids area down towards the resort side very clean and well elaborate with all the basic needs. Recommend the resort too all.

One of My Favorite place in UK Have recently visited The Swiss Village very nice elegant eco friendly resort need to visit alteast once to see how the owner has jelled himself with the beauty of nature to make the environment frienly and to maintain the grace of the mother nature. Taking a step ahead explaining the resort from starting we entered the resort me and my wife got a warm welcome from the reception staff with welcome drinks . The front office manager was polite enough to explain each & everything about the surrounding. Later he himselfcame with us for our check-in. Looking at the resort area very wide nicely taken care with utmost care huge initiative taken from the management to take care of the property. Club house area and restaurant just an add-on to the resort well managed and trained staff all the staff gives u special attention. We stayed in the resort for 3 nights and the stay was fabulous. Really thanks to all the staff in the swiss village. Will be returning soon.

Lived this place I had a visit to this beutiful place with my friends.Fully enjoyed my trip. Food quality is excellent.Loved himalaya views.Club includes everything.Will suggest every nature oriented person to visit there.Try to stay in their tents..you will have a wonderfull experienece.

Disappointing We were 3 families and we stayed in this hotel for 2 days. We had initially booked apartments and tents (one night each) but after looking at the condition of the apartments (too cramped with accessibility issues) and tents (because of the rain, water was seeping inside the tents), we decided to go ahead with the cottages. And I would say the staff was courteous enough to show us all the places and let us decide where we wanted to stay. The cottages looked okay(average) except for the washrooms which looked very old requiring maintenance. Now the problem started after we moved in. The sheets were dirty so we had to get them changed. The intercom in one of the rooms was not working and despite logging complaint, it did not work till the last day. There was leakage in the taps in the bathrooms and floor was getting flooded with water. Both the days, most of the times hot water wasn’t there and last day water stopped coming in the bathrooms. Most of us could not take bath that day. There were so many basic issues, that most of our time went into getting them fixed. Staff was pretty decent and helpful but with so many issues cropping up due to poor maintenance they were struggling to address. The property is huge and our rooms were around 3 km from reception. In a hilly area driving down to that place every time was a big pain. The view from the rooms was awesome and one could enjoy and see the Himalayas sitting in the bed. Their club and reception area is well maintained but rooms/cottages need some real attention. When you are paying 10K per night kind of charges, you expect basic hygiene and things to be in place. We were very disappointed as most part of our vacation went out in getting things fixed and we stayed in a mess.
