Had our septic replaced in May. Oh yes very friendly and system installed with basically minimal down time. I have no issues as to to speed or efficiency of work done on the system. What I have issue with it is the total destruction of our yard. I was told that it will be better than before the work being done.
My advice is to get all the details in writing before beginning any work.
I question the quality of topsoil brought in to replace the old stuff. This soil that was brought in was clumpy with chunks of clay and stones. Now when it rains, the water sits on top of the soil and does not absorb into the ground. The seed grass I put down didn’t even take. That is not included with the job.
They grade it, roughly, and that’s it. See ya later. Of course if I wanted it as it was before the job I should have been prepared to spend more. Yes, I should have listened to the folks who told me to beware, but, I felt Ben was honest and said “ we’ll take care of you” . Lol
So, for what it’s worth, I hope that folks would be more insistent and demanding and insure that you have your yard as it was before the install, if that matters to you.
I don’t think the topsoil brought in was of good quality and now in the sun, it’s hard as a rock and you cannot pass a rake through it.
Oh it’s made my back yard a disaster and there nothing than can be done unless I can drop another 5k on it. When you spend 25k plus, i just expected more. So, I’m not really happy.
Our family has used Ben and his team for 10+ years. Great group of people to work with! Just recently had a tank locate done for building purposes. Ben makes things so easy. Made sure to get a proper locate done before digging and followed up with hydro to make sure we were on their roster. We can hardly tell he dug any holes! Any damage from the bobcat was barely noticeable when he was done. He even covered all areas with grass seed! Great guy! Thanks Ben and team!
We had a system put in during the summer this year and were very pleased with the service we received. Ben and his team are friendly and professional. Ben continued to keep in contact with us well after our system was put in to make sure things were to our satisfaction and that our grass was growing. Highly recommend The Septic Guy!
I had Ben and his team put in a new septic tank and they did a great job. Ben took care of all the permits and kept me up-to-date on timelines, etc. They started the job early and finished when expected. Everyone was polite and professional. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy with everything. I would definitely recommend them.
