On April 20th, I called this location to make an appointment and spoke with Esther who refused to help and wouldn't make an appointment for my mammogram even though I informed her that I was having pain on the right side. I then had to call back 3 times to leave a message for the supervisor Katia Sanchez. Katia eventually called me and I made an appointment for April 24th. I arrived for my appointment on time at 1PM and about 16 minutes later I asked the lady in window No. 2, she had brown wavy/curly hair pinned up and I believe she's Latina but not wearing a name the or didn't see a nameplate on her desk. I said excuse me do you know how long the wait is and before I could finish my question she interrupted me rolled her eyes and said you need to wait until I call you. She seemed bothered that I asked her anything and she didn't have anyone at her desk but she was too busy on her personal cell phone to be bothered with my question. I said okay you don't have to be rude and she replied well you need to wait. I went back to this same RUDE unprofessional lady and told her just cancel my appointment and I left the office. I rearranged my workday and I'm in pain and need a mammogram and this is how the Rose treats their patients. Omw back to work I called and left a message with Deborah for Katia Sanchez to call me and that was at 1:30PM on April 24th and still no returned call from Katia. I have now wasted a few days with the Rose and hopefully find a place this week to have my mammogram. The Rose needs to do better and they can respond to this review but actions speak louder than words!!

Heartless
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Rose. I was told I needed an imaging order before scheduling, so I went through telehealth to obtain one. After getting that, I was then told the order had to be worded a very specific way.
I corrected that and obtained the updated order, only to be told AGAIN that it still wasn’t acceptable because it did not include both breasts—even though my concern is in one breast.
This process has been confusing, inconsistent, and unnecessarily stressful while I am trying to get evaluated for a breast mass. Clear, accurate instructions should have been provided from the beginning instead of repeatedly changing requirements and delaying care.
For a facility that serves patients dealing with serious and time-sensitive health concerns, this lack of clear communication is unacceptable. Patients should not have to navigate multiple barriers just to get an appointment.

Told us to come in for our initial appointment and they'd work out a payment plan. When we got there with 2 children under 2 taking the day off work they told us they dont do payment plans for first time patients. After going back and forth they finally agreed to see us. Then the doctor made my wife's problem worse and we had to go to another doctor who fixed his mistake.

So, this is my second mammogram at the rose. I've also received an ultrasound here as well. Staff is polite, but not overly friendly.
The issue that I have, has to do with ceiling tiles. I didn't pay attention to them during my first mammogram, but during the ultrasound, laying on the table, I couldn't help but look up at the ceiling. One of the ceiling tiles was not a tile but a mesh screen. The type normally throughout an office building, except this mesh screen was not on an input or output for the HVAC system as would be expected. Just a mesh tile that I could see into the ceiling of the building. I pointed it out to the tech and as I was leaving, saw whom I assumed was an office manager, walking into the room to hopefully address the issue. Boobs out, with a mesh ceiling tile did not give me the confidence of privacy, as would be expected from this type of facility. I thought, maybe i was the first to notice and since i brought it to attention, it was maybe a fluke and would be taken care of.
Fast forward to a year later and I go in for my annual mammogram. In the mammogram room, I look up to the ceiling and what do I see, but another mesh ceiling tile looking straight up into the ceiling and not on a HVAC register. I didn't get a pic of yesterday's one but attached is one I took last year that shows clearly this was looking into the ceiling. I suggest contacting building management to get solid ceiling tiles to ensure private spaces in this facility. If mesh ceiling tiles will be used, perhaps place them in the hallway and not exam rooms.

Thank you for contacting The Rose, Denise. The ventilation tiles help alleviate heat generated by the mammography equipment. However, we appreciate your concern regarding patient privacy and we are working to replace the ventilation tiles with standard ceiling tiles for the comfort of all our patients. If you'd like to speak with a supervisor about your experience further, please contact our team at info@therose.org.

Definitivamente de los peores lugares. No te ayudan, te facturan cifras que como en mi caso son falsas. No se toman en serio su trabajo de revisar cada caso y cada factura, solo cuando de sorpresa te llega un Bill de más de mil dólares. No
Es correcto qué facturen mal.No es correcto que de la nada te dañen tu vida crediticia que con tanto esfuerzo se construye en este país. Así que piénsalo dos veces.
