Solid stop downtown for a bourbon lover. They've got solid store picks that you can get pours for $5. They also have a really good tasting bar with bottles that are all over the map. Ranging from vintage Wild Turkey to a EH Taylor Tornado Survivor. Understand that the collectible bottles they sell are priced accordingly- as private market items, but the rest of their bottles were more than reasonably priced in my opinion. Guys were knowledgeable on bourbon and very pleasant. I'll stop my next time in Louisville.

Went in this morning to look around. The two guys were friendly. I actually like beer a little more. The tall guy with glasses gave me some great spots to visit. They were really helpful in finding local spots to hit etc. I didnt buy a bottle, but the conversation and pours were excellent. They really know their stuff and the hidden gems to hunt and go to.
Was greeted with hostility as soon as I walked in the door. Saw a cool bottle that I was telling my partner about, couldn’t even get two sentences in before the same miserable employee came up behind us to ask if “we had any questions”. After I said no, it was as if I offended him personally because he was even more rude and arrogant until we finally left. Apparently it’s impossible to take in and look.
I can deal with the prices being astronomical, some of the bottles are highly sought after, make your money. I was going to ask about one until your employee was downright disrespectful and rude.
The second employee who was at the bar was great, not sure what crawled up the other one and died.
Won’t be back.

Went to Justin’s hoping they would have some Old Carter bottles left to sell from the tasting earlier in the week but they were gone.
Talking with the employees at the store they told us some other stores to check if we wanted a bottle since they knew they are hard to come by.
They even called a store to confirm they had a bottle. Needless to say we went to the store they called and got the last bottle.
Thanks for all your help!!
As a Louisville local I can’t speak highly enough of Justin’s. I make sure to take every visitor who comes to town to Justin’s and I always stop by to sample their amazing selection of single barrel picks.
They also host fantastic tastings and events so make sure you don’t miss those as they are one of a kind experiences.
There are literally thousands of places around Louisville you could buy bourbon and Justin’s stands head and shoulders above them all.
