I'm having the same issue as another reviewer. Mother passed away 11/7 and had her room emptied same day. Staff was great but issues with getting a refund and call backs from Administration. Continued to be sent to Corporate but yet google where is the corporate office and it returns Jackson St. Trying to close out mothers account so I can distribute the funds to her beneficiaries.

The nursing staff are wonderful. However, the administrators are not. My mother passed away on 9/2/25. Her room was vacated on 9/4/25. Her full September rent ($6,450.00) was automatically deducted from her bank account on 9/1/25. We were told that a refund would be issued in 30 days. I spoke to the Head Administrator 3 weeks ago and was told that a check would be sent out from corporate. We still have not received our refund. Since then, I have left many voicemails on his phone, and he has not had the courtesy to respond to me at all. Navigating through the death of a loved one is difficult enough with out having the added stress of dealing with someone who seemingly couldn't care less about doing what is right.

My mother just transitioned here approximately 2 weeks ago and she shares with family and friends how the courtyard feels just like home. ALL staff members are impeccable. Her friends who come and visit say the same thing about the staff. 8/5/25 My mom is still doing amazing at this facility. I’m giving the Courtyard of Oshkosh a solid 5 ⭐️ rating. My mom has been there for a little over a year and is doing well! Like any assisted living facilities they have challenges to overcome at times. The nice thing about Courtyard is the knowledgeable and friendly staff will always help and resolve issues quickly. I see the same friendly staff during my visits and I’m always greated with a smile!! My mom is comfortable in a clean environment and always gets the extra attention when needed! Holidays are always enjoyable with joyful decorations and great food to!!!

I frequently visit the Courtyard as a third party contractor. They plan wonderful seasonal events for the residents and their families. They've even had Elvis visit! The building is beautiful and clean and the meals are healthy and delicious. For many of the caregivers, the residents become like family. I've witnessed many special relationships.

Absolutely LOVE that Lalo, former owner of Vitale's, is the chef!!! I went to Vitale's restaurante many times before it closed and always enjoyed my meal, service, and talking with Lalo. It always smells GOOD at The Courtyard!!!!!! I recently had a meal with a friend there IT WAS AWESOME!!!

Love The Courtyard at Oshkosh. Love working with all the team members, especially Andrea who is a huge advocate for her residents!! It can be a hard decision to have a loved one move into an assisted living, but this facility makes it much easier when you see how much they care for their residents.

My father resided at the Courtyard at Oshkosh for 4 years. The facility is clean and well maintained. They decorate beautifully for their residents each holiday/season. The caregivers were wonderful. I was so touched that they knew my dad (his likes and dislikes) so well. They really pampered him. They would have his hot chocolate in front of him at meals before they even started serving. They knew when he was well or having a rough day and were there for him. The management was awesome. There offices are in the entranceway and they were always available. I felt they communicated honestly whether it was positive or a situation needing attention. The management also knew my dad, his personality and likes. The care plan they created for him was individualized for him and routinely updated. The on site nurse was aware and involved in his health issues. I am a RN and think I'm in a unique position to evaluate the care given in a facility and think they did a top notch job.

The Courtyard staff and management has been so helpful and caring since I have placed 2 parents in memory care there. My parents have not necessarily made things easy on the staff, with their struggles to adapt, but staff has had SO much patience and willingness to help with the transition from home to facility. I have been updated and contacted by staff in a very timely manner when their situations necessitate. Facility is very clean, and the food has been great. I would highly recommend The Courtyard to anyone needing to find a care facility for loved ones, they have been AWESOME.

The courtyard is the worst place you can put your loved ones in. So much abuse and neglect leading to residents getting hurt or dying. I had to quit today after nothing was getting done about it.

Looks beautiful on the surface, but I agree with recent negative reviews. Multiple investigations I'm aware of due to resident treatment or lack there of. Understaffed more than typical due to (IMO) questionnable firings and/or forced resignations of staff members trying to do their best without the support of top management. Very sad I assume there will be a response to discredit my comments. Perhaps the effort is better spent on hiring good staff and working with them to make their facility better for residents and staff.
