BEWARE! Don’t believe all you read about this facility. If your loved one becomes more than what they want to deal with, they do all they can to oust them. There is NO MEMORY CARE here!. They don’t want to deal with someone that makes them give more care! Which I was paying the 2nd level of additional care! HA! My husband was an escape risk, got out three times, and they couldn’t handle it! I had to pay out of my pocket for additional care givers! Make sure your loved one DOESN’T get to friendly with any residents of the opposite sex. Just like watching teenagers!
It’s a nice, well maintained facility, BUT, if your loved one requires more than mild care, look elsewhere! I would not give one star, but site WON’T ALLOW! Not surprised!

The Courtyard at Wheelersburg is an assisted living community and does not offer memory care. From the start, our team works to clearly explain the level of support we can provide and when a higher level of care may be needed. Those conversations are never easy, and they are always centered on what is most appropriate for each individual.
When a resident’s needs change beyond what assisted living is designed to support, our responsibility is to communicate openly and help families plan next steps. That includes discussing safety concerns, care expectations, and outside support options when necessary. These decisions are guided by care standards and the well-being of all residents, not convenience.
