Capt. Sam was absolutely great. He worked hard catching us live bait and finding us some beautiful Stripers. I can't say enough about how important it was for him, to get us fish. This has been the highlight of our trip!! Capt. Sam or as we will always affectionately call him.. not in Nuetral Sam.. is the guide you should choose!!!!

Went on a guided trip with my wife and two daughters(6 & 9). We are all new to fly fishing. Our guides Rob and Mike were awesome. They had us fishing like old pros in no time. These guys are great for families. Worth every penny. Thanks guys!

We had such a great Father’s Day charter with Sam! After calling him to talk about some logistics, he was so nice and accommodating, I immediately booked with him for a surprise fishing excursion. He was punctual and just as friendly upon picking us up at the dock and that continued during our trip. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and we caught several massive stripers!!! We had an absolutely amazing time and we returned to the dock feeling like we had made a new friend. I highly recommend Capt Sam for your trip!

What an absolute RIPPER DAY. We did the 4hr wading trip on the San Juan River with Rob and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We had minimal to no previous fishing experience but there was plenty of time for us to get the hang of it, and Rob did a great job of explaining and helping us all out. The scenes were incredible, we all had some success, some good laughs, and Rob was just an all round top bloke! An awesome intro to fly fishing, and thank you to Jeremy for helping us organise a great day out. Will head back up for another trip soon.

I just spent two days on a father and son trip fishing Private Waters with Kyle. It was an outstanding experience. To begin, booking the trip with Jeremy was smooth and easy, very well coordinated, no surprises. Fishing Private waters, boots on the ground, was big fun. The scenery and solitude of the streams we fished was spectacular, but Kyle was the best part of the trip. Not only did he take us to some awesome honey holes where we caught fish, but he taught us how to work the stream between the holes. Walking along the bank, Kyle would look at the stream and say, "that looks fishy, let's take a few casts before we move upstream." First cast, bam, a rainbow trout. The next thing you know, we hooked three trout in a spot on the stream that you wouldn't expect to catch anything. Kyle was a great guide and teacher and I can't wait to use everything he taught us on my local streams. This was an experience of a lifetime!

We had an amazing guided wading trip on the San Juan River. Our guide, Rob, was both knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy coordinating our trip with Jeremy as well.

Booked a float trip down the San Juan. My guide Rob was fantastic. I learned a lot and caught a lot of fish. If you don't book your trip with heads Up Fly-fishing , Your crazy. Couldn't have been better!!!

I highly recommend Heads Up Flyfishing! My husband and I had never fly fished before. Our guide, Rob Peper, was amazing! He was patient, fun to hang out with, and a great instructor! We both caught fish and had a fabulous day on the Animas. We are hooked! Can’t wait to come back this summer. Jeremy took our reservation and made sure we had everything we needed for a successful trip. Y’all are the best!

Really awesome experience with our guide, Michael Mote, on the Animas river! We caught tons of rainbow, brown, and brook trout. The scenery was beautiful, and the fishing was the best! I highly recommend heads up fly fishing. It was great fun and value.

Michael was an expert fishing guide today on the Animas River. We had a blast and learned a lot. We had never been fly fishing before and he gave us the right amount of information at the right time! They provided all the equipment required. Jeremy was very helpful and responsive in getting the day scheduled. Thank you Michael and Jeremy for a fun filled day!

Rob was great! As a teaching guide, I couldn't have asked for more. He instructed us on reading the water, casting & mending, techniques on keeping the fish on the line with a barbless hook, instruction on how the fish react once hooked, safe handling and conservation, plus so much more! Watching him cast is like artistry in motion. We got so much more from this experience than we thought we would! Plus, there was some really great conversation! A man that is just a pure pleasure to know!

We had an awesome fishing adventure on the San Juan for 6 friends and with 3 guides/boats. Chris helped us tremendously in bringing the most fish for the day! Thank you, Chris!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing day with our guide, Michael. He was patient and took his time to teach both of us how to fly fish. We caught so many fish we couldn’t even keep count. He really knew his stuff and went out of his way to make our day special. Also, Jeremy the owner was great to communicate with and get us all set up with everything we needed.
