Appointment was scheduled for this past weekend. No one showed up and no one was available to take calls.
On their website and over the phone appt was set for Saturday 12 to 4. On their email same appointment was set for Sunday 8am to 12. We wasted a full weekend waiting for a technician. Very unprofessional and unacceptable!
We had a service appointment today between 8am and 4pm but they were a no-show, After reading some reviews it seems like it's common with this company. Will update review if and when repairs are made.

Fraud scam attempt; company has no address!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is an organized fraud operation targeting vulnerable consumers, especially elderly and women.
MY EXPERIENCE (Case #xxxx9439):
Technician Uzair arrived for built-in microwave repair. He came ALONE despite built-ins requiring TWO people for cabinet removal. Did ZERO diagnostic work - literally just walked in, said he “needed another technician,” then DEMANDED $149.99+HST for providing absolutely nothing.
THE SCAM:
• Deliberately under-staffed to create “return visit” fees
• Demanded payment for zero service
• Then wanted ANOTHER $229.99+HST for “second visit with two techs”
• Total: $380+ in fees BEFORE any actual repair or parts
• Refused to take responsibility for THEIR failure to come prepared
• Held repair hostage until I paid for their incompetence
RED FLAGS OF ORGANIZED FRAUD:
🚩 Service fee with no service rendered
🚩 Multiple-visit fee trap (should be ONE properly-staffed visit)
🚩 Changing prices ($150 became $229.99)
🚩 Pressure tactics: “cannot proceed until payment cleared”
🚩 Zero accountability - hid behind “company policy”
🚩 Targets vulnerable populations who won’t question authority
THIS IS NOT INCOMPETENCE - IT’S A CALCULATED SCAM.
Coming unprepared is deliberate. It creates scenarios to charge multiple fees without doing work. This business model is designed to extract maximum money from consumers while providing zero value.
ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS FOR:
• Elderly who trust “company policy”
• Women who face condescension in male-dominated trades
• Anyone in urgent situations feeling desperate
• People unfamiliar with consumer rights
WHAT LEGITIMATE COMPANIES DO:
✓ Verify requirements before appointment
✓ Arrive properly staffed
✓ Actually perform diagnostics
✓ Provide written estimates
✓ Request payment AFTER work completed
THIS COMPANY DID NONE OF THIS.
WARNING TO CONSUMERS:
Never pay upfront. Document everything. If they can’t do the job they were hired for, ask them to leave. Report to BBB and consumer protection agencies.
TO THE COMPANY:
Your predatory tactics are transparent. You exploit people who need help, hide behind “policy” to justify theft, and target vulnerable populations. This is disgraceful.
PROTECT YOURSELF. WARN OTHERS. REPORT THEM.
Technician: Uzair
This review is factual, documented, and intended to protect other consumers from these predatory practices.
STAY AWAY.

Getting nowhere with the manufacturer’s repair service over several months, we finally called Appliance Pros to fix a fridge door and replace a stove control panel. Service was arranged within a few days by helpful Appliance Pros office staff. Sandy, the technician, was pleasant, super-competent, explained what was needed, and returned to install the new parts within a few days. Sandy provided absolutely top notch service and our overall customer experience was excellent. We can’t recommend Appliance Pros too highly.
POINTLESS PURSUIT AND WASTED TIME!!!
The technical service experience with Appliance Pros was unprofessional and amateurish with a low standard of communication. The customer service telephone wait times are lengthy and the call back request message is open to question regarding when you actually receive your call back.
My service appointment with Appliance Pros was confirmed by phone and email. The day of the appointment I phoned the company to confirm the time window. The customer service representative confirmed the remainder of the details, plus sent a text to the technician to remind them of my request for a phone call when they are en route.
The technician never showed up. Instead, an hour and a half past the companies four hour interval, wait time I received a phone call. I could not understand what I was hearing until the person began calling out ...washing machine ... washing machine. The service appointment was for a dish washer.
Appliance Pros requests a credit card number to book an appointment. I am now presently on a phone hold with the company waiting to confirm there has not been a charge added to my credit card because after phoning to inform a customer service rep that the technician never came to my home ... I was told the technician noted on the service job number that "I" had cancelled the appointment.
What a pointless pursuit trying to get an appliance repaired by Appliance Pros.
If nothing else - the only good thing resulting from this experience is the customer service rep just told me that my credit card has not been charged.

Stay away from this company!! We had a whirlpool refrigerator door issue back in August 2025. We called appliance pros and they quickly assigned technician Kieran to come take a look. He was there for a few min and said a part needs to be ordered and then he will come back to install. All this was going to be included in the fee of the service call, which we had to pay then.
The part apparently arrived middle of oct, but no one ever called us. And I had to call 4 times just to get the technician to come back in. Each time, no one at the call centre could actually tell me with any certainty that the technician would come.
Finally he comes and tells me that he ordered the wrong part!!!
Now I have to fight with them to get a refund. Who knows if they will refund !
They are a scam! Stay away!

Absolute joke of a company. States they are working for Whirlpool - which I believe to be a lie. Have a dryer under Warranty, have had 2 techs come out and cannot diagnose a problem. The second tech, basically told my 65 y/o tenant that she does not know how to do laundry and that the unit is working perfectly. Documented she was argumentative and non- corporative. All lies as he never once checked the unit, used any tools to check the sensors, coils etc.
I called back 3 days later, asked to have another tech come out for a second opinion. The CSR Sabir advised me that he had booked a second opinion and not with the same tech.
I waited 4 hours 12-4p and no one showed on the date. Called CSR at 4pm and was advised the tech had already been out and written a note at 12 noon..... just complete and utter lies - since I was there for 4 hours and no one showed. They will not give me the name of the tech unfortunately.
The sad part of this is that unfortunately any new appliance has the 1st year warranty serviced by this company - so we are all prisoners to this poorly run operation.......

They booked me an appointment for today (a Saturday) 8-4pm after waiting around till about 4:40 I figure no one is showing up.
The only number they provide is manned Monday Friday.
I didn't receive any communication about maybe being late or having to cancel my appointment
Now I have no idea when I can get my washer repaired and will not be able to use it for my work clothes by Monday

We had a very unfortunate and disappointing experience with the repair of our dishwasher. Thr tech that was sent didnt know how to diagnose the appliance and in removing it, he caused a flood in our apartment. The tech wasnt equipped with standard screws, to replace the ones he dropped and lost while removing the appliance, he went out for over an hour to buy screws. Throughout the appointment he told us the drain pipe was broken and thats why we have water pouring in, the tech didnt know how to locate the drain point to understand that he had pulled out the drain and caused the water leakage. I showed him where the drain goes, and explained that he hasn't assessed the actual issue to repair, he didnt know how to assess it. In the 5 hours he was there, he spent 3 trying to get the dishwasher back in place, which he didnt, its still crooked, missing a screw and wobbly. Its not currently usable in its state.
The tech ultimately didnt know the issue, he said it was fixed, I suggested he run the dishwasher again to make sure. Once again the drainage wasnt working, and the issue remained. The tech, in his entire visit, didnt test the appliance to determine the issue was resolved until I recommended it.
Im absolutely shocked, we were originally given an 8hr window, that was then reduced to 4hrs, the appointment itself was almost 5hrs Without a repair!!.

This has been one of the most frustrating service experiences I’ve ever had.
I called this company about an issue with my microwave. They quoted me for a built-in microwave service and sent someone over — and the person they sent was completely unqualified. He didn’t even know how to take the microwave off the wall. He never turned the microwave on to see what the problem was, and I literally had to help him find the screws to open it. After all that, he just left — without even testing the appliance once!
I then had to spend hours on hold trying to reach someone who actually understood what was going on. When I finally did, they told me I’d be charged for the visit — for what exactly? A “diagnosis” that never happened? If you’re going to charge people, at least do something first.
After arguing with a manager, he said to remove the microwave myself and he’d send someone else. I ended up paying $50 to another person to remove it, called the company again, and asked them to please send a competent technician — not the same guy. And guess what? They said I’d have to pay another $150 plus tax($170), on top of the $150 for the “diagnosis” that never happened!
Now imagine this is the service provider recommended by Whirlpool Canada — and if I want a different technician, I’m expected to pay double, totaling about $340 just for a diagnosis that will hopefully happen this time! How does that make any sense when a brand-new microwave costs around $400–$500? It’s ridiculous.
Now I’m stuck with the same technician, otherwise that $170 goes to waste! And I can already see where this is heading — by the time a part is replaced, I’ll probably be out another $400–$500. I really wish I had read the reviews before calling this company in the first place.
For a company associated with Whirlpool, I honestly expected far better treatment and accountability.
And if you ever need to file a complaint, good luck — it feels impossible to reach anyone who takes responsibility.
Unless you enjoy paying for nothing and wasting your time, stay away from this company and WHIRLPOOL! Believe me, you'll regret it. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.

I would not recommend at all!
I asked for repair and service and booked the appointment online. The technician showed up for my washing machine and he didn’t even touch the washing machine and in 1-2 minutes he said this machine needs Control Board. For this I paid almost $170 ( for 2 minutes job). Then I asked the technician how long it will take, he said by the end of the week you will get it. Now it’s been 3 weeks to get the part which even is not a cheap part. I contacted them and the person said they are “locating the part” and she doesn’t know how long it will take!
Are you serious?! How long it will take to locate one part (probably 1 moth to many years !) and say yes or no ?!
So disappointing and I highly suggest to deal with other companies as they don’t care about customer and customer satisfaction.

This is the second time in a year I’ve had to contact this Appliance Pros in order to have a Maytag washing machine fixed. The first time the machine was 5 weeks old and now just over a year old. I will never buy another Maytag and I hope to never deal with this company again. It seems like there is constant miscommunication or none at all between appliance pros and technicians. Last time I had to take 3 days off work to wait for a tech to come. After waiting hours each time I had to call the tech and he would tell me he didn’t know he was scheduled to come. This time appliance pros gave the tech the wrong phone number. Each time I called they said someone was coming between 8-4 when in fact no one was coming at all. This is day two waiting on someone to come and no one has called to schedule the repair. Unless you have endless hours to spend waiting for no one to show up and you’re able to go weeks without a functional
washing machine I’d suggest purchasing an appliance that doesn’t include service from this company.

Andrii has been to our home on more than one occasion. He is always prompt, professional and efficient. We are very impressed with his knowledge and skill. I would not hesitate to recommend Andrii for all appliance repairs. He is a very nice person and he does excellent work. Great service!
I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Appliance Pros+, the service provider dispatched by Whirlpool Canada. On July 22, 2025, a technician came to inspect my refrigerator, which is only 1.5 years old and originally cost around $1,800. The technician quoted a repair cost of over $1,600—nearly the full value of the appliance. I declined the repair due to the unreasonable estimate.
But here’s the kicker: the fridge wouldn’t stop beeping constantly, even in the middle of the night. It disrupted my sleep for days.
What’s worse: I was never informed in advance that the inspection alone would cost $169.49. No mention of a service fee was made during the booking process, and had I known, I would have reconsidered the request entirely. I’ve since contacted Whirlpool Canada three times to dispute the charge, but they insist I must pay it.
This lack of transparency and inflexible customer service is unacceptable. Charging customers for a service they weren’t properly informed about—especially when the proposed solution is economically impractical—feels exploitative. I expected better from a brand like Whirlpool and its authorized partners.
I’ve dumped my Whirlpool refrigerator in the garbage after this nightmare experience with Whirlpool Canada and their service provider, Appliance Pros+. This is the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Whirlpool doesn’t stand behind its products, and Appliance Pros+ is just there to collect fees.
Avoid Whirlpool. Avoid Appliance Pros+. You’ll regret it.

Absolutely disgusted in this company. I had the technician come out in June, assessed the repair, came back to replace part within the week. It was determined it was a different issue and the correct part was ordered (no issues to this point). Since then I have called at least 8 times for an update and made a complaint and not once has someone called me back or has given me an update on my repair. It's October..if my part is taking this long to ship, someone could at least call to let me know or call me back. I am done and will be moving on to another company, clearly they don't care for my business or has no courtesy
To add, the email response posted below by max, is not a valid email address from whirlpool.
