Reviews the problem and asked questions to trouble shoot the issue, found the problem and repaired it. Other contractor that visited just said it was not a problem - that the issue was normal. Going forward would suggest you send us factory technician. They are are more responsive and the service is good.

Had someone come and TRY to fix my combo microwave and stove. He was professional, took some time to diagnose things, charged me 375 dollars, and told me that I needed two separate control boards that were blown and a transistor. The total for the parts was going to be around 2100 dollars. Plus another service fee. As the unit is almost 10 years old, I was doing some parts lookups and seeing scenarios where I’d just replace vs. Repair. Good thing is that the main board was the most expensive part at 700 dollars followed by a secondary board for 450. Confused by the 2100 dollars, I asked them to tell me the part numbers they were replacing so I could better understand. The tech gave me every excuse under the sun about why he couldn’t do that. I called customer service who also gave me the runaround about how they didn’t use part numbers. I asked for the names of the parts and they didn’t use those either. I asked them how they knew what parts to order and they really had no answer. I called the manufacturer directly to get a second opinion. They recommended another company who fixed the stove for 750 dollars taxes in, parts and labour. It was a secondary board that had gone bad and nothing else. Avoid these guys unless you like being ripped off.

I had the pleasure of having Mike K as my technician, and I couldn’t be happier with the service! He replaced my washing machine’s control board and fixed my dryer, which had been damaged by the previous tenants. On top of that, he was amazing with my dogs! Mike quickly understood the issues and got the job done efficiently. 11/10 service — if I ever need another appliance technician, I’d absolutely want it to be Mike K. Thank you, Mike!

I'd like to give zero stars as I feel completely ripped off by this company. I explained what my issue was (basically a screw came out of the oven handle/door and the front part of the door came off) and they sent two people who told us they can't fix it. It's a screw!! When we asked how can we get it fixed then, they shrugged and said "maybe check the internet". Calling these guys was my last resort and now I have to buy a new oven because Whirlpool can't fix a missing screw?? They charged me $146.89 for nothing!! I wish I never called them.

Service Tech arrived 1.5 hours after my 4 hour scheduled window. Unprepared. I described on their website I needed a specific thermal fuse to diagnosis the issue and gave them more info. Tech showed up in a personal vehicle, no uniform, with CanadianTire tools. No thermal fuse. Not at all like the picture on their website. Showed no confidence in what it could be without the fuse that I asked them to bring. Called support, jerk on the phone said once they walk in your door your billed. I said I'm not paying for nothing. He said, "it'll go to a collection agency". This would be first for me. This made me furious as I'm a very tolerant person. I tried to contact someone reasonable, but only got frontline customer service people trained to do as they are told. Ask them for a manager, and they said no. This is a $3,100 KitchenAid wall unit oven. You think they might care. And vet their service professionals better than what I experienced.

Cliff arrived as scheduled and effectively and efficiently addressed the details that were totally missed by the delivery crew and the installer. This fridge in my opinion has multiple design flaws. These include the design of the door light trigger switch, and the way that removing the top service panel requires a large top gap to rotate it up and off. Our previous model was a straight on and off application for access to the top cavity of the fridge. The waterline connection was also an enigma for the installer. We had asked for direction ahead of time from Whirlpool regarding this, as we anticipated a problem, and we received very little useful help. The installer had to obtain parts involving two trips to Home Depot to enable the connection to be made, and it was not done to spec. Cliff was able to get the door light to come on by bending parts out of factory spec upon opening the door, rather the 18+inches opening required when it was delivered. He addressed the removal of the upper panel and now it is removable without having to lower the fridge, but there is a large black gap at the top compared to our previous KitchenAid built in fridge. The protective plastic coating on all of the stainless fridge parts was a complete nightmare, and it still isn’t all off, despite several hours of effort. .Cliff advised us to use a hairdryer, but even that is proving extremely difficult, and the material extends behind factory joined components such as the lower trim edging on the top grill. We have been trying to dig out the unsightly residual plastic film using wooden BBQ sticks etc. with limited success. There still is significant glue remaining, and it looks like crap. We have had a multitude of fridges in our lives including many KitchenAids, SubZeros etc, and have never had to spend so many hours trying to get the expensive appliance usable. The design of the removable top panel is case in point. The fridge is designed to be a built in, but the gap that has to be left to allow removal of this panel for any purpose, such as adjusting the door light switch, is totally contrary to the esthetic that people are trying to achieve with built in appliances. If you jack up the fridge to close the gap to an acceptable level, any time that you need to remove the top panel, you have to pull off and unscrew the lower skirt, and use ratchet wrenches to lower the fridge! “User friendly” doesn’t even enter into the thought process. Our previous KitchenAid of 22 years service, simply had the top panel attached by clips that allowed straight in and out install and removal, so the top gap was not an eyesore! What was wrong with that design? Anyways, all these negatives should not reflect on Cliff, and/or the very personable individual who took our call and very promptly arranged Cliff’s visit. Compliments on how rapidly you dealt with our concerns, but frankly the concerns are there by design, and I think you should address those design issues proactively, as opposed to having to correct them after delivery and installation. Would I ever buy a KitchenAid again? Not based on this experience I would think. All this aside, we were very impressed by Cliff and how he approached the details that needed to be looked after. Terrific guy to have in your corner when you make appliances that are poorly designed! So, despite the design flaws, the fridge is now in functional order we think, save for another hour or two trying to figure out how to remove the annoying protective film. Hope this is constructive, but if you are like most firms, I’m sure this will fall on deaf ears. The ball is, as they say, now pin your court. PS The five stars are for Cliff and not the product!!! Thank you, Cliff!

Been waiting for a full month for a technician to come and install a compressor on my fridge (compressor in stock). Called Whirlpool and Appliance Pros multiple times. The only answer I get is "we'll contact the technician" and "he does not answer back". I am without a fridge since end of january. RIDICULOUS SERVICE (if we can call that service). Still waiting - AVOID THEM.

Appliance Pros+ were dispatched through KitchenAid/Whirlpool official support for a built-in refrigerator still under some warranty. Frost building up in freezer for years, turning brown from mixing with metal/screws in cavity. Instead of diagnosing a seal issue like another company, they told me the unit is a "total loss" and there is a leak from inside the freezer top cavity (where no waterline or fluid exists). Write-off of a $10,000 fridge...OK. Emailed CEO of Whirlpool, have not heard back.
