I filed my initial application for social security benefits in January 2022. I was denied in February 2023. I filed an appeal in March 2023 and was denied in October 2023. Nancy and her staff, especially Megan and Shawna, were always very responsive to all my emails and phone calls with questions. I was never left out of the loop and always informed of everything that was happening. I had my disability hearing in April 2024. Nancy spent time with me letting me know exactly how the hearing would go and what questions to be prepared to answer. She also asked me the questions and helped me perfect the best way to answer them. I won my case!! I start getting benefits in July 2024. There is no way I could have done this on my own. Nancy Cavey and her staff (shout out Louise C!) are phenomenal! I became disabled from Long COVID and its associated conditions after an inection in March 2020. After searching for someone knowledgeable and strong enough to take on a new condition, a post-viral condition, I connected with Ms. Cavey. The process with her was beyond smooth. Her office collected ample information from my providers which is quite numerous due to the number of issues now experienced, and provided me an outline of the process, allowing me ample time and accomodations to do my end of the preparation for my hearing. Ms Cavey and her staff are incredibly thorough in their preparation, has videos that explain the process to clients and their families/ caretakers and took on a case like mine, which I hope serves as a precedent for others with Long COVID and associated conditions, or post-viral conditions in the future. It was a long 3 year application process partly due to not hiring Nancy sooner! I had started my disability claim with another attorney who didn’t seem to understand the impact that having multiple different autoimmune conditions, as well as PTSD, could have on a person. After feeling like my attorney wasn’t being proactive with submitting my medical records and other documentation to SSD, I was referred to Nancy Cavey. After finding so many helpful resources on the Cavey Law website and watching multiple videos on Nancy’s YouTube channel, it was obvious that Nancy truly understands autoimmune conditions - some of which are considered “invisible illnesses” which are often hard to diagnose and even harder to treat. What in the world was I thinking 🤔 I applied for disability on my own only to be rejected two times. A quick google search led me to attorney Cavey and my life was forever changed! What truly sets Ms. Cavey and her staff apart is their meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach. They gathered and organized all necessary documentation ensuring nothing was overlooked. Their strong advocacy and persuasive arguments were instrumental in securing a successful outcome for my case! I can’t thank them enough! If you are applying for disability just hire her. I have MS and the stress was really starting to impact my health, disease wise. I can finally take a deep breath and just relax and not have to stress about this anymore.

Cavey Law only takes cases for people who have claims, so they are guaranteed to get paid. They swiftly rejected to help me because they "only take cases of disability cases with claims." They said my case is"unique." This tells me to they are not disability experts, and Casey Law only takes cases they know they can win and take your disability cut. My case is related to disability discrimination that ada protects. I don't believe they care for people with disabilities who need help.

The Law office of Nancy Cavey and Attorney Krysti Monaco have been amazing in assisting me get my Long Term Disability benefits reinstated. They didn't achieve to do nothing with my case

Attorney Cavey, her team, and I have been working on my Social Security Disability claim since January 2021. My case has been denied at the ALJ level. Recently, it has been remanded with the help of Bryan Konowski. Now, we will continue with the next steps together. Attorney Cavey actually cares about her clients. If you think you have a case, you're looking at a great Attorney!
