I went to this salon a few years back and was seen by Pam. I got unable to afford her $100 fee and had to stop going. I now can afford all services so I made a new appointment. I am 68 and do not always feel like sitting in a chair for a long time. I sent her a message to reschedule due to back pain and this is the rude response I got back:
I’m very sorry for your back pain but I will not be rescheduling an appointment for you.

So I just want to warn seniors you may not get the best treatment here. Also, maybe think about going to someone who has a boss instead of doing and saying whatever they want to. The other thing that’s off here is the $100 includes the tip. I don’t think they should pre demand a tip. I tip for good service. What if I don’t think the service was good?
Anyway there are many talented stylists in this city and yeah Who wants to contact you again? I don’t like giving my money to mean, nasty people.
Oh and in case you’re wondering I did give proper 24 hour notice. So, I didn’t do anything wrong.
I made myself wait a few months before leaving a review so I could cool down.
I made 2 appointments for me and a friend for the scalp treatment. She has 2 options for how long you want it. 60 minutes or 90 minutes. I was never asked which one we wanted, but when we both got our confirmation that our appointment was scheduled it showed my appointment at 5:30p and my friends at 6:45p. So I’m thinking 60 minute appointment then 15 min to clean up then my friends appointment. Well that wasn’t the case.
When I got to the salon she didn’t have me come back to the room for 7 minutes after my appointment. Which ok maybe she’s running late, it’s ok. So she takes me back. I get the treatment. At the end of my appointment she spends 15-20 minutes just blow drying my hair. At this point I have no clue what time it is. Then my friend gets there for her appointment. So now the girls rushing to get mine done because she booked my appointment for 5:30 and my friends for 6:45. So the last 15 minutes of my treatment my friends appointment is 15 minutes late to start. So the workers rushing mine. So after she finished blow drying my hair I went to the restroom to get changed and use the bathroom. I go up front to pay and it’s $130!! I was so shocked. She never said the total she was like rushing me so I felt like I couldn’t say anything and was so confused. And by this point my friends appointment is 15 minutes late to start. So When I got in the car I looked at the clock and it was just 7pm. Meaning that she was late, rushing me at the end, I went to the restroom, paid, and walked back to my car, for $130!? So I didnt even get my full 90 minute treatment. It was used to do all those other things. Typically when you have somthing like this the time they say means that’s how long the treatment is, not how long you’ll be at their salon.The sad part is that this was the owner doing all this, not even an employee. So I felt very cheated.
The treatment itself was fine but before I knew that I was being charged more I was thinking that I wouldn’t be back. It’s just not worth it for that price. And then after this experience it was definitely not worth it.
Had my first appointment with Krystal for a facial. I wasn't sure what to expect, but she relaxed me and gave me a wonderful facial. Will be going back!
My nail technicians, who does my manicures, works here. She is the absolute best. Great manicures, great ambiance, great personality, she always makes you feel welcome.
Krystal has been my massage therapist and esthetician for many years and she's fantastic. Definitely recommend!
