Worst Filipino Store On Saturday 12/7/2024, after my work shift I went to Island Pacific Granada Hills to shop for some items. I was carrying a white re-usable shopping bag that time. I remember the lady ask me if I needed a bag I told her yes. I have lots of items that time so I know I will needed more coz it will not fit on my re-usable bag. After I put all my items at the counter, I put 2 bags on my cart that the cashier packed and I helped her by putting the can goods on my white bag. She told me to put my number on screen and after that she handed me the receipt worth 173.77 in total. I thought that all my items were in the first 2 bags. My husband helped me with the items to put in the car and handed the shopping cart to the lady by the entrance door coz she said she needed one. After reaching our house, out of tiredness from work, I told my husband that I will put away the groceries the next day coz I really wanted to go to bed that time. The next day Sunday 12/8, my husband told me that they wanted to go universal studios and just do the groceries unboxing at night. After our universal studios around 9pm, I started putting away the items. I was looking for my bananas coz wanted to cook turon and I couldn’t find it. I thought we just left it in the car. We searched it and it’s not there. My husband said it’s just a banana, just let it go. But after finishing putting away the 3 bags I couldn’t find my sinigang mix(8 of them) and panutsa(hardened sugar) and wrapper. I highlighted all the missing items and it’s worth only 27.85. Not that big money but I still wanted to let the store know coz strongly believe that the cashier didn’t give me the last bag. My husband told me just call them the next day coz it’s already late. The next day Monday 12/9, after sending my son to school, I called the store and explained that I have some missing items from my Saturday shopping, she told me to stop by so they can determine. I went to the store around pass 8am and the cashier called the guy name Ron, I believe he’s the supervisor and he took my receipt and called his store manager. The store manager checked the CCTV and send some screenshot of me only putting can goods. I told him it’s me and he told me they will be giving the items. He told me to go with him while getting the items but then he told me that his manager told him that I took the items already. I got mad that time and told him to show me the whole video showing that I took the items coz I’m sure they will not offer to give back the items if I really already took the items. He told me that’s the only screenshot they can provide. I’m panicking that time already and told him to give me the receipt and I will just go to police station and let them handle it. I will not let anyone talk bad about me coz I didn’t do anything wrong. My conscience is clear. I know I will win if I bring it to the authority. I also called my husband coz I’m already having an anxiety attack. The cashier has the items and my receipt but she doesn’t want to give it to me. I told her, just give me my receipt and I will just go to the police station. She hold me for more than an hour holding my receipt and keep saying that their store manager will get out to talk to us. He never did. Around almost 10am I started crying coz I was to stress for just $27.85 I got belittled by the store. I can afford that but them saying that I’m taking advantage, that’s so wrong. I’m 100% sure of what I’m fighting for. She did give me the items except the bananas but the store manager never came out from his office. What’s he’s hiding for. We then reported it to the police station nearby for not only giving me the items but also for emotional abused. They abused me emotionally. The store manager, Ron, and the cashier. Hope the head office will take actions coz my families are loyal customers spending money almost every week and for just $26.85 I got emotionally abused by them.

I love the pricing but personally where they have the chicken and fish for the guys to pick for you seems dirty. But the fish in the aisle to pick yourself seems safe

No one at the seafood counter wanted to help me so I left. I was there for 10 minutes they all saw me, never asked if I needed help. A bunch of rude men. 1 star for my cashier he was nice. I won't be going back.
