They recover my lost files in my damaged hard drive and transfer to a external drive. I expected a bit faster return of my goods and some instructions on where I can find my files as I’m not a computer savvy, but by the end they save my life and many problems and work to recover. I was asked for my windows password but I did not felt comfortable to give. Very good company and trustable. Thanks guys for your good job 👍

Excellent quality service! Ian not only recovered my files, but upon following up with me to see that everything was ok, I asked a simple question regarding trying to find some additional files that I didn't think were on the drive. Upon listening to my concern, he went ahead and found the files, sent a screen shot and allowed me to recover some very hidden files, that I never would have found in a very obscure folder! He is my hero! Great company, quick turn around and awesome customer service!! Highly recommended!!

Took my laptop in for data recover after being told it was beyond help. They not only recovered all my data but also got the laptop working and helped me get a full backup on a hard-drive!! Trustworthy and reliable service. My hard drive stopped working all of a sudden. It had a lifetime of photos and videos. It was a WD external hard drive that was several years old. Then one day my computer could not read it anymore even though it was still able to spin when plugged in. A friend of mine who has used TeraDrive before referred me to TeraDrive. Now I have all the data recovered. Thanks so much TeraDrive.

They couldn't recover my data. Dealing with them was reasonably easy and they didn't charge me anything since they couldn't fix the problem, but it was ultimately not useful for me. They also offered to pay half of the cost of another firm if anyone else ends up being successful in retrieving the data, which was not the case. It was a nice gesture and it showed they were pretty sure the drive was unrecoverable. I think they might not have a clean room to operate on HDD drives since the shop I took the drive to after them (also an unsuccessful attempt) said there was dust in the drive case. Could it have been debris from the broken drive, or dust from the this company's lack of a clean room? I don't know....just one data point.

The team at TeraDrive did an outstanding job assisting with recovery of a failed RAID which I thought frankly, was done. Quick and efficient communication via phone and email. We were victims of the QNAP NAS attack and had almost 8 terabytes of critical medical information encrypted and compressed, with a request for bitcoin ransom. In speaking with Ilya at TeraDrive we were told that he and his colleagues would work at returning that data to us, and that we would only pay for his efforts if they were successful…and they were. And during the time it took to do so we were kept informed, sometimes daily, as to their progress, and reassured about the outcome. And this service was provided at a small fraction of the cost other services (hah!) had quoted. All of the data was returned to us on a 10 terabyte drive. Highly recommended, and very satisfactory.

I dropped off my external hard drive on Monday, they sent me a thorough analysis and quote on Thursday, and they let me know they had recovered 100% of my data and sent me a list of the files by Monday. Drop off, payment, and pickup was very quick and easy and communication was great throughout the process.

When I was in Royal Columbian Hospital, the nursing/care aide staff dropped my 4TB external hard drive three times in the course of a couple of days. After the third drop, I was no longer able to access any of the data on the external hard drive. I felt sick because I had all of my pictures for at least the last 20 years on this HDD as well as my current personal and work files (I am a retired trial lawyer), including my income tax and financial documents. I also had thousands of videos that I could no longer access. I immediately contacted a colleague who is a lawyer as well as a forensic computer analyst and he had no hesitation in referring me to Ilya Lvovsky of TeraDrive Data Recovery. I am very grateful that he did refer me to Ilya Lvovsky because he was able to recover all of my data for me. He said that he recovered 99%, but when I checked, he basically recovered all of it for me. The other thing to remember is that Ilya does not charge his fee unless he is able to recover some data for you. He will explain exactly what is involved and what it will cost beforehand, giving you the option to decide what you want to do. For me, it was a Godsend because the pictures, videos and data were irreplaceable and invaluable. Therefore, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ilya Lvovsky and TeraDrive to anyone who finds himself or herself in a like situation if you lose all of your data due to a massive crash or someone dropping your hard drive.

I was in a real bind when one of the drives in a RAID-0 array failed. I knew I’d been playing it loose with the data for years, but I “just hadn’t gotten around” to buying a large enough drive to serve as a backup. It had hundreds of hours of ProTools recording sessions, and photos from countless weddings and other activities over the course of the drives’ 15 years of useful life. When one of the drives failed, it was like those 15 years of my life had disappeared, and I was close to resigning them to just a memory. I eventually started looking for options. After submitting the drives for repair, and a new 4TB SSD for the (hopefully) eventual restored content, I was quickly given an analysis and quote. They had verified that one drive was fine, but that one of the heads on the other drive was faulty. They were confident that a full recovery was possible. After sometime, they reached out with what could have been bad news — none of the donor drives that they had on hand seemed to working to get the data on the failed drive recovered. However, the working drive I had submitted looked like it could be a worthy candidate. This makes perfect sense since those drives were bought together, and for all I know, were neighbours on the assembly line. That said, I’d be lying if some doubts didn’t start creeping into my head. Why did the other donors not work? Was it really because they couldn’t have, or shouldn’t have? Was I going to let the working drive be destroyed to potentially fail to recover the broken drive? The time was ticking for those platters — should I just call it there and take it somewhere else? Based on the competence and confidence of all of the interaction I’d experienced with both the team and Regina, I made the decision to let them proceed. This turned out to be the correct one. They were quickly able to confirm that the new rebuild using my working drive was taking the platters well, and they were on their way to full recovery. They even obliged my request that then share some physical evidence with me in the way of a recovered photograph. You wouldn’t believe the smile on my face when I opened the 3MB photo they emailed me that would have been stripped several times across each drive. Only a few days later, I received the restored files on my SSD, and spent a few hours enjoying having all of that content back. Because it was a RAID configuration, it was quite a bit more expensive than a regular single drive recovery. I can surely state however, that having all these memories back was not only worth the quoted fee, but is essentially priceless. I would not hesitate to use Teradrive’s services again. In fact, I have 4 old IDE drives duct-taped together that had mostly failed shortly after college I might have them work on! 100% recommended!

I Brought my hard drive for diagnostic here. After the diagnostic the price was announced to me and it seems to me very high. I decided to pick up and try to second opinion to evaluate my chances somewhere else. But when I was told in more professional local laboratory, why they did open hard drive cover if the diagnostic could be done without opening it? Now the price is twice as high because it has already been opened. But still the price after the opening turned out to be a little lower than I was informed here. It very difficult to talk to the owner. He's angry when he doesn't like something. He pretends to be a professional, which is not. Beware of this place!!!!!!!!!!

Suffered a catastrophic hard drive failure and desperately needed my data retrieved. I dropped off hard drive and received an analysis back within 24 hours with an 80-90% chance of recovering 97%+ of my data. Spoke to tech prior to starting just to make sure I knew what I was hopefully getting. He explained it clearly and concisely and set my mind at ease.
