I hired Tapas and Fun Catering for my husband's 50th birthday party. It was the perfect choice for our outdoor party! They made two paellas and several tapas on site. All the food was absolutely delicious. Everything about the service was very professional, from responsiveness to calls and emails to coming earlier to set up. I would definitely recommend Fatima and her team to anyone who enjoys a good Paella.

Fatima catered our B'nai Mitzvah. We had amazing tapas and the very special paella, chocolate mousse, and almond cake. Our guests raved about both the presentation and the food. Fatima is delightful, talented, knowledgeable about Spanish food and culture, and we are thrilled that she made our special day even more special. We highly recommend that she have her cater your next event and that you visit her shop in Gulf Gate.

Fatima is had a fantastic cooking class featuring traditional Spanish Tapas. She is enthusiastic about her cooking and it shows! She makes you feel like you are in a Tapas bar on the beach front in the Canary Islands

I happened onto this cozy and intimate Spanish kitchen and store, and what a delightful surprise.
We spoke with the lovely owner, Fatima, who has been in Sarasota for the last 19 years (originally from Tenerife, Canary Islands), but recently opened this establishment in the Gulfgate neighborhood three months ago.
Fatima treated us to a sample of her recently prepared seafood paella... delicious. We bought some of her homemade gazpacho and savored the fresh tomato and vegetable puree.
What an excellent surprise on our second day of a lengthy Florida vacation!
Fatima is conducting a tapas cooking class on 1/17. For those looking to create and taste some sure-to-be authentic and delectable tapas and pintxos should consider signing up for her class.

What an amazing experience with Chef Fatima and our Paella Party for 20!!
Everyone LOVED the food, music and entire cooking show as she made a wonderful paella on our lanai !!!!
The empanadas and gazpacho were also nice tapas that set the tone as we sipped on our homemade sangria and Cava! We provided the serving plates, utensils and drinks. She did all the food and cleaned up after herself before ahe left.
I Highly recommend Fatima for any catering event. Our experience was GREAT and she is lovely!!!!

Fatima catered a dinner for my husbands team last night and all I can saw is it was amazing!! The food was fantastic (we had beef empanadas, chicken skewers, Sevilla platter, paella and two desserts. We wanted a more relaxed, fun dinner and we got just that! As she was cooking Fatima explained what she was doing, gave us history behind the dishes, and gave us amazing food! Once dinner was cooked we enjoyed talking with her and she became a guest and enjoyed the party with us. After speaking with several caterers, I ultimately chose Tapas & Fun because the food sounded fantastic, and with having many dietary restrictions - I did not have to make any changes to menu items so that I could eat. She throughly explained the options, let me know I picked way too many and we paired it down to fit how many people we had at the party. Everyone had a great time, and it was fun watching her cook. Thank you for creating a great evening for everyone!! We will be having another paella party!!

Fatima did a fabulous job of feeding us at my reception! We loved her gazpacho first then the shrimp and avocado. We had 6 appetizers each better than than the last and finished with the paella! She is knowledgeable, friendly and cleaned everything up!,

Fatima did a great job. She was very nice and easy to work with to come up with a menu that was a hit with all our guests. The paella she cooked on our lanai was fun for all the guests to watch.

We had paella, Galician pies and Spanish Omelet from Tapas and Fun for our daughter’s baptism. The food was delicious with a beautiful presentation!! Fatima is a wonderful chef and a very nice person that made our party a very pleasant experience for our guests.

We have been having Fatima come to our home for many years to make her wonderful paella along with her other tasty dishes. We love it! She is a very lovely person and we all enjoy her cooking and her company! Her chocolate mouse is the best!
