Sylvia was very thoughtful in making the cottage ready for me and my family (which has a 2 and 4year old). The place was perfect for us and garden really lovely space.Lovely little touches like milk in fridge, local cake and toys for the kids, which they really enjoyed.We have a lovely and comfortable stay and was close to so many places to go and see .

What a find, a lovely cosy cottage with everything you need. It is spotlessly clean and has lots of special touches, a chocolate on the pillow, a locally produced cake in the fridge and so much local information. would definitely recommend and return.

Enjoyed a nice 3 night break at Sylvia's cosy cottage. It was very clean, warm and with plenty of space for 3 adults using all 3 bedrooms. Great location for exploring the North Devon coast. I would highly recommend a stay here.

I wish I could have taken this place around with us on our two-week trip through various parts of England; this was the one place—of four Superhost stays—that I could truly relax physically and psychologically. The best of them all. It felt like a family home, laid out for comfort. It was clear that this was being run by someone who understands (aside from utter cleanliness and care) all the little things that are important for comfort: a place to hang jackets, enough seating, dish towels and good knives in kitchen, towel bars and space to set things in the bathroom, stairs easy to use. The bathroom is just steps from the bedrooms. Sylvia got in touch ahead to make sure we knew how to get in, and we had a chance to visit for a little while during our stay, which helped us feel more a part of the place. When she told me she had formerly run a B&B, I wasn't surprised at all; she has long experience with providing comfort. Bonus: friendly neighbors.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Everything you need and Sylvia is always on hand for any help. We loved our stay and will certainly be back.

Very welcoming, nice, clean, comfortable, well equipted cottage and Sylvie was really kind and helpful. A beautiful area with lots to see and explore. A car is essential but there are so many different things and qualities around. Thank you, we had a relly nice time

Fab stay, fully recommended. Clean spacious and homely cottage. Had everything you could possibly want from great hair dryer and fluffy towels to every gadget needed in the kitchin.Tvs great and wifi.Great shower. Lovely garden. Small parking space but we got family car in it no problem.Cant wait to return.

We stayed at Chris and Sylvia’s lovely cottage for 3 nights in May. The cottage was just as described and perfect for us, all the amenities, clean and comfortable. We have a 2 year old and the toys and teddies dotted around the cottage and bedrooms were well loved during our stay 😃. It’s in a very quiet secluded place but attractions and beaches are just a short drive away. Sylvia was very helpful throughout our stay, a great host! I recommend staying here if you want to explore Devon.

Really good value for money, extremely clean. Lovely hosts who were very proactive contacting us with info. We were very late arriving due to traffic and got straight in to the property. Would defo stay again, thank you for your hospitality

Sylvia was a great communicator and the cottage was as described, very clean, comfortable and cosy. Exactly what we needed with Storm Noa in full blow! Woolsery, just over a mile away, has the amazing Farmers Arms - perfect for a treat meal. The Woolsery milkshake shed was a firm favourite with our kids.

Quaint house in beautiful Devon countryside. Plenty to do nearby, Milky Way adventure park, Clovelly, Woolsery village which had a great local shop, fish & chips & dairy farm where you can make tasty milkshakes! Sylvia was a very welcoming host.
