Absolutely delicious. Had to return a second night in a row because the chicken pho was delicious! Staff is friendly and hospitable, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and great lighting. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for quick service and yummy spring rolls!

Gem in Marlow
What an amazing hidden gem in Marlow. A cute setting showcasing Vietnamese style, friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. All at reasonable prices! Highly recommend a visit when in the area.
We shared a platter to start which came with lots of lovely different things to try including spring rolls, pork mango salad and chilli king prawns.
For mains we tried the curry (I need that sauce bottled up so I can purchase!!), the seabass (flakeiest fish I think ive ever had) and the shaking beef!
For dessert we tried Vietnamese style yogurt with black rice (which wasn't our thing tbh) and pandan leaf pudding...which was glorious!!
If you're looking for somewhere special to go, this place is it. The food is glorious, the hospitality is incredible. It's been a week and im still thinking about it!

Took advantage of the 'kids eat free at weekends' offer and had a fantastic time with the family. The welcome was warm, the service exceptional and the food, a real hit with everyone. When dining with an adult, children can choose a juice, starter and main from the kids' menu. There's a varied selection, the portions are great and the food - well, it's something else. Tasty, healthy and absolutely moreish. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, especially with this offer. Almost too good to be true!

This was ok, mainly because of the company and wine. Food was meh! tofu was watery and bland, broth ok, noodles mediocre. The crispy squid was quite reasonable and as far as I could make out the duck and pork dishes ok. Cost was not bad , there’s not much more to say really. Average, I suppose.
I've waited a week before deciding to post this.
I have not been to this restaurant before but my friend had booked a lunch there ,so off we went.Saturday afternoon, not too busy,but the service was still slow .Whilst waiting four our food that seems to have taken ages , we looked around and the place itself felt crammed, tables sticky and very dark.
However my reason to write this is because I had witnessed a lady sitting not far from us turning first red,then purple desperately gasping for air .I cannot comment was this brought by something that got stuck in her throat or an allergic reaction to something she ate,but NOBODY ,including the manager of the restaurant, did not attempt to help her ,neither did they call 999 to try to deal with the customer almost turning blue at this point.
Young man who was with her in distress left restaurant with the lady still struggling outside at this poin, and run to the Accademia Italiana hairdressers shouting "Please help,my is choking!"
Gentlemen with a hat instantly left his client and preformed Heimlich maneuver for quite some time which seemed to have worked. She sat at the hairdressers where clearly she was cared for and the colour of her face was turning normal.
I believe,soon after, young gentleman was prompted by Suum manager who looked over whilst all this was happening, but did nothing whilst she was gasping for air, to pay the bill!!!!!!
I find that absolutely unacceptable,hard to believe and quite rude actually!
Gentlemen from the hairdressers did not get a thank you either!
I hope the owner of Suum is aware that his staff should be made familiar as to what actually needs to be done in the situation like this .
And I hope my review prompts him to do something and if similar occasions happens,they handle it with confidence, knowledge and a lot more sensitivity!
I also hope they have said a huge thank you to the man at the hairdressers after all, for saving lady's life,leaving his customer to help others!

Usually, under these circumstances, I wouldn’t comment, out of respect for the individual concerned, but given your claims are so serious, and we don’t have your contact details to be able to explain in person, I feel I have no option.
A customer did indeed choke last week but she was not left unattended. As soon as our restaurant manager was alerted to the situation, she performed the Heimlich manoeuvre, as she is trained to do. The owner of the hair salon came to help, and he successfully performed the Heimlich manoeuvre, after which the customer was able to breathe. The individual was embarrassed and so we all took her to the hair salon where we cared for her. She insisted her son return to the restaurant to eat and so we offered to move them to another table but, understandably, she did not want to. Her son asked to take his order away with him and he did pay for this, although in hindsight we should not have accepted his payment. We did not charge the customer concerned for their meal.
The customer was eating our chicken breast broth (Pho) and we had performed an allergy check when taking their order. There were no allergies present and no cause for concern with the contents of the broth.
Clearly, this was an extremely distressing time for the individual, and our staff. We are so thankful to Kamani (the owner of the hair salon) and our manager for their quick reaction, calmness and care.
I am disappointed that you had to wait for your food, that you felt your table was not clean, and that you did not enjoy your lunch. We aim for impeccable levels of cleanliness, service and hospitality and I can only apologise if, on this occasion, we fell short.

Amazing authentic food
Went there for dinner with clients. It was 5 of us. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and great service. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The food is absolutely delicious and it was a big thumbs up from everyone. There is plenty of food choices and good portions so great value. I will definitely go back and can highly recommend for a great evening out in good location.
Has a separate vegetarian and vegan menu and some good GF choices. I enjoyed the food, service was excellent and helpful and I tried sake for the first time. Clearly popular with locals.

Our third visit to Suum - absolutely love this place. The food is delicious. My partner had the beef shin this time - it was insanely good - definitely going to have this again. I had the chicken pho - super clean tasting and just exactly what I needed as I was feeling a bit under the weather. Finished off with a lovely viet coffee - always a winner. Staff are polite and friendly. Hats off to the chefs here.
