I just had a 30kWh battery installed buy Sun Solar. The service from Oliver and the team has been fantastic. Oliver kept me up to date with everything and was clear with the process. The he 2 guys that came out to install were really friendly and did a neat job. They run the wires in the internal wall and therefore no conduit on the outside side. They cleaned up after themselves and were a please to deal with. Cheers Luke

Agreed to a solar plan installation October 2025 and it is May 2026 and they have dodged calls and emails about following through with the service. They do not respond to any emails and when calling them they do not answer the phone. Trying to get a deposit refund and they are uncontactable since deposit was made. I would not recommend this business and feels very much like a scam, I'm located in Brisbane.

I reached out to SunSolar on a neighbor’s recommendation. Mark and the rest of his sales team were very patient with my numerous queries. I must have spent nearly 2 months asking them questions of all sorts but was always given timely responses. On contract signing they ensured a timely installation and inspection within 2 weeks of the install. Overall very happy with the level of service provided

I am extremely disappointed and would rate Sun Solar Energy 1 star. They made false promises during the sales process and have completely failed to deliver on compliance updates. Months later, there is still no progress or communication on this critical issue. They also failed to pick up the cardboard packaging from my house after installation, as promised. Their customer service is operated from overseas and is absolutely terrible — they disconnect calls in the middle of conversations and never call back, leaving customers completely in the dark. On top of that, the inverter is not working properly at all, and they have refused to fix the canopy over the inverter to protect it from rain, even though this was specifically discussed and promised. This has left my system exposed and unreliable. I would strongly advise anyone considering Sun Solar Energy to look elsewhere. Zero accountability, poor after-sales support, and broken promises. Avoid at all costs.
