BEWARE OF THE TOURIST SCAMS! The guide will include a stop at an affiliated essential oils shop which isn’t part of the tour and we didn’t ask for it. After a demo of their essences, we felt pressured to buy something. They then tell you to wait somewhere else while they prepare it for you and out of sight they tape the bottle really well and put in in a box taped 5 times just to make sure you wouldn’t open it until you get home. You find the unpleasant surprise when it’s too late to complain! The bottle is filled with perfumed glycerine which leaves a sticky feel on the skin contrary to a real oil. The scent doesn’t last more than a minute and it is definitely not the one I sampled! This SCAM has ruined the whole experience which would have been nice otherwise and I find it a disgusting way to treat tourists who spent almost 200€ on a day tour.

We had an amazing day with Dalia! She was very informative and super easy to talk to, and kept the tour very engaging, even on the car journeys. The driving was smooth and our opinion was asked when it came to the planning, ensuring a good experience. Dalia even provided us with a great restaurant recommendation for our evening in Cairo after the tour. Would recommend :)

L'escursione è stata interessante ma non merita un voto alto per diversi motivi. Il primo è che nella descrizione iniziale non si capiva che cosa fosse compreso esattamente nel tour. Solo dopo la partenza ci hanno detto che la Cittadella non era compresa. L'agenzia ci ha chiesto altri 20 euro a persona per andare e la guida ci ha avvisato che avremmo dovuto fare tutto di corsa in quanto eravamo partiti troppo tardi. E in effetti abbiamo fatto tutto davvero di corsa! Alla Cittadella abbiamo visto solo la Moschea, al Mercato Khan El Khalili credo che siamo entrati da un'ingresso laterale perché non abbiamo potuto ammirare le Porte che si vedono in tutte le immagini, non siamo entrate nella chiesa copta di San Giorgio.... Uniche cose positive sono state l'ottimo italiano della guida (preparata ma non empatica) ed il posto dove abbiamo mangiato.
