Loved my experience here. Was slightly busy on a Saturday but the ladies were quick to help get me started on a wine tasting. I enjoyed most of the wines but my favorite was the wine slushies. We also enjoyed the seating area outside. We will be back.
**Visited again recently and had a great time. The apple cider wine slushies were awesome and we absolutely loved the charcuterie board and hummus plate. My favorite was River Rat!

Great refreshing slushy, wonderful Rueben sandwich, staff was wonderful
What a great, comfortable place to stop for a great sandwich and a wine slushy! We got two Reuben sandwiches which were the biggest Reubens I have ever seen, loaded with plenty of meat! A very reasonable cost for this dinner, and the staff is so friendly and nice. A great place to go out for dinner at and not go broke! The music was live and he was very good. An overall great experience AGAIN. This is a must try in Holmes County!

I love the wine here. It's always great wine, and that is what it's about it is a winery!
I have been here A LOT! The only reason I don't like going here is due to the staff constantly talking about their personal life to one another. This has happened a lot during my visits. I feel like they should focus more on the customer and build a brief relationship with them.
Actually, the last time I went there, I got really upset because a couple was talking to the bartender, and asking question and then another staff member started talking to the bartender in mid conversation, with customers. I was shocked when the bartender completely started ignoring the customer and engaged in a petty conversation with co-workers.
Don't let the outside look fool you, stop in. It's an old gas station/convenience store turned deli/winey. Sunny Slope Winery was pleasant and laid back. Very unassuming and owners are friendly. Sweet wines are definitely their strength, so if that's your cup of tea it's worth a short stop.
A small winery in Holmes County. Most of the wines are sweet varieties, but there are a few dries. We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday and were surprised we were the only ones here. I tried the house specialty, an elderberry wine and liked it a lot. Not too sweet with a touch of tartness. I usually order dry reds, but this was a good. The winery also serves as a deli and general store. We ordered deli sandwiches for lunch. I had the Italian, which was stacked high with salami, pepperoni, and ham. The deli slices it fresh. The staff were also very friendly.
Heard about this place from a co-worker. We decided to go. Wife got the pizza panini. I got the roast beef sandwich. Very tasty. Im not really a wine drinker, but got a glass of Fence Jumper? Wow!!! It was super tasty. Very easy to drink. Bought a bottle to go. The deli section has fantastic prices as well.
