Fun time We had a GREAT time with Zach kayaking and hiking, he is very funny and knowledgable about the area. My husband and I had never kayaked and probably gave Zach grey hair but we laughed a lot and really enjoyed the hike to the falls and hanging out at the falls. It wasn't very wet and the hike was pretty easy, we did this with our kids, the youngest is 17 but you could definitely do it with younger kids too. Definitely a great experience.

Thanks for a Great Trip! Thank you Brian and the whole team at Duke's Kayak Adventures! My son and I had a great time on the river kayaing trip to a "secret" waterfall. Brian was our guide, and he was fabulous! First came the kayak, then came the hike, then came the waterfall that can never slow down....phantastic trip all around, highly recommended for your trip to Kauai. PS, I never write reviews but felt compelled to write this one to say thank you.

5 stars. Sadie was the ultimate guide. Instructional when needed but a lot of fun. She brought her flute and played while we were at the waterfall and it just set the mood. Waterfall was a beautiful and mystic scene. Definitely would go back and do trip again with Sadie. The whole group of 8 (family) loved the trip.

Fantastic trip highly recommend!! Awesome experience and our guide Sadie was very patient with the whole group, making sure we were doing well on the kayaks and hike. The waterfall was beautiful and we got there before most of the other tours. Highly recommend doing the early morning tour. One of my favorite parts was when Sadie played this cool wooden flute at the waterfall. So peaceful and relaxing, made me want to quit my day job.

Kayak and hike to the secret falls! Our Guide Levi is amazing! He told us Hawaiian stories, and explained Hawaiian traditions. He sang Hawaiian songs as we traveled down the river. He also blew the Conch Shell as we entered the forest and followed Hawaiian traditions. The river and water falls were amazing! We have taken many Kayak tours, this one is by far my favorite!

A Must Do! Brian was super knowledgeable and the trip was a must do! I would caution that it is fairly rigorous to hike, very muddy and slippery. Make sure you have proper hiking or water shoes for the 1.5 miles to the falls!

Awesome trip with the family! This was one of our trips highlights! Brian was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable and funny. He taught us about jungle plants/ history and the movies that were filmed here. He was also a bird whisperer and dug worms to feed his feathered friends who came when he whistled . We had perfect weather and even then it was muddy so be prepared to have a fairly rigorous hike to the falls. My hubby and I are in our 60s and our sons in their 20s. We were all tired at the end of the day (we had an afternoon trip) and couldn't get into the hot tub fast enough! Definitely an adventure to remember!

Amazing experience! The falls were absolutely breathtaking and powerful in many ways! I can say with confidence our experience wouldn’t have been as fantastic without our adventure guide, BRIANNNN! He was knowledgeable, fun and had amazing energy. He reminded us to connect with nature- experiencing the journey as well as the destination. We were very happy to have worn waterproof shoes with traction and would do this tour again and again. Thank you Brian and Kauai!

great tour of the river! if you can call ahead and request Brian as your guide, would highly recommend. he is friendly, funny, and sings quite a few made up songs. also knows the birds in the area and can call them to him.. pretty awesome! pretty mild kayak there but tougher on the way back because of the currents. hike is decently moderate with a few places you have to climb. overall amazing tour!

Totally worth the effort!! Wonderful! We had a great time. The kayaking is very easygoing and the river is beautiful.. The hike to the waterfall, while totally worth it, could be challenging at times. It was very muddy and we crossed several streams and rivers. My parents were with us… very active 80 year olds… and I worried about them slipping and falling in the mud and on the rocks. Ironically, while they had a couple close calls, it was me that ended up slipping and sliding down a bank and into the stream :) no injuries, just a lot of mud everywhere! I loved the waterfall. Completely worth the effort to get to it. Our group seemed in a hurry to leave though. We were the last ones in there for the day and had it to ourselves and I would have enjoyed spending a bit more time there.. but the majority won. Hawaiian Brian was our guide. He works Wednesdays… so go on a Wednesday if you can! He was informative and fun!

Great hike to falls! Brian was a great guide! We booked this as a smaller tour versus going with the larger tour off of the cruise ship and so glad we did! Brian was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the whole tour, would recommend. I would just note that meeting at marina would be easier than at the SUP shop.
