Missing some inventory.
People in stores have been good. Ordered Rx dog food online and it had label created on 8th. It is the 11th, and FedEx has not been notified to pick it up. Auggie is HUNGRY, thanks Petco!
My dog has not had diarrhea in the past year, and even the morning I took him for his haircut he did not have any diarrhea. However, about three hours after I dropped him off for the haircut, I received a call from Petco saying that he had severe diarrhea and that I needed to pick him up immediately. After I brought him home, he kept shivering for the rest of the day. I will never take him there again. It almost feels like he went through some kind of trauma.There is a lot of blood in his stool. A very healthy dog turned into a suffering patient within 3 hours.

The store was quiet. Walked past 3 different workers, not one person asked if I needed help finding anything. Nobody had any name tags. There didn't seem to be any sense of urgency for anybody to help with anything. The employees were slowly doing the truck that was all over the floor in aquatics. Use to come here weekly, now will not be returning after the fall of the store over the past few months.

I waffled on the rating a bit with this review. As a frequent shopper at Petsmart I decided to check out Petco since I was on that side of town. It was fairly early in the morning when I arrived and there were just a handful of customers inside. It seems like there was only one person really working (he was helping assist a few customers in getting fish). This associate was detailed and very helpful when questions were asked. We noticed there was really no one manning the register when approached with a question. After standing there for a few moments an employee a few registers over (that was closed) on his phone eventually made his way over. He had no drive to work quickly or efficiently, and rang up my order at a turtle's pace. They didn't have any bags at all in the store so everything had to carried out by hand.
The positive side of this was the variety in their stock, the informative employee who carefully bagged all fish, and cleanliness of the store.

Sales associate acknowledged price tag was wrong, but then refused to honor price on the discounted tag. Cashier made snarky comments throughout checkout interaction and was incredibly non-personable and rude. I was actually taken aback by the experience, and we left our items without purchasing anything as a direct result.

The store wasn’t properly staffed!
Recently adopted a puppy 11/7/2025; and inquired about the new pet coupon book.
I was totally disappointed and in disbelief that none of the $72 I spent had a coupon to defray the price of any of the items purchased.
