We had an absolutely wonderful Mother’s Day brunch at Stone Harbor in Sturgeon Bay! The food selection was excellent with something for everyone, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special without being over the top.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made it perfect for celebrating with family for Mother’s Day. From the beautiful waterfront setting to the great service and well-organized brunch, it was a memorable way to spend Mother’s Day. We’ll definitely be back!
If I could give this dish 50 stars, I would. Stone Harbor’s restaurant has truly outdone itself with the new wild rice and blueberry stuffed chicken breast. The flavors are extraordinary; the savory chicken, the perfectly seasoned wild rice, and that subtle burst of blueberry come together in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. The fresh string beans on the side add the perfect crisp balance. Absolutely fantastic from first bite to last. This is, without question, my new favorite entrée in Sturgeon Bay.

I called to cancel my reservation 4 days ahead of the day I planned to stay and they charged me 25.00, I will never stay at this hotel.

It's ok. Not the best location for seeing the beauty of door county but walkable to local shops/bars. Screwed up our online reservation we made through their site but the tried to make it right.

This was horrible first fridge was on the floor 2.THERE IS NO MICROWAVE two warm up my dame Fry's 3.why is the dang TV so small it's literally like a 13-in TV. Don't even get me started on the wall art it reminds me of my grandma's living room and the thermostats are probably as old as her The only thing good about the room is the blinds and the pool too well there's no pool in the room but like it's obnoxiously nice The food was good but it made me not poop so I spent most of my day just watching SpongeBob

Fantastic resort and recently renovated as of 2025. Friendly service and clean facilities. The restaurant and bar are also remodeled and very nice. Easy to get to and ample parking with downtown Sturgeon Bay within walking distance. Great restaurants and bars nearby as well. I highly recommend checking out Stone Harbor Resorts.

I sent two emails and one form message to the hotel with zero response, so I am forced to leave this review.
We booked the One Bedroom Deluxe w/No Connecting Room for a stay in late July. Both the photo and the description indicate there is a queen sofa sleeper; however, our room came with a small futon that was not large enough to fit two people. We tried to change rooms, but none was available, with no expression of remorse from the staff.
I am writing to express my disappointment that we did not have the queen sofa sleeper as promised. This marred what would have otherwise been a wonderful stay.

Our first visit to this incredible destination was truly unforgettable. The staff's warm hospitality, exceptional dinner and breakfast on the deck, peaceful Sunday morning coffee on our private patio, and vibrant evening with friends, complete with drinks and live music, all came together to create a truly exceptional experience. Employees were not very nice. Make sure you have the right date and nothing else is going on in your life before you book and hopefully no life situations pop up. They charge an inconvenience fee. They should’ve thought about that before customers can write reviews online.
