Located in a beautiful setting The Sanctuary is a safe place where you will be welcomed and accepted by a team of highly qualified and trained professionals. Dr. Hoskins and his wife Sesi give 110% of their time to provide the necessary treatments and counselors for each individual. I highly recommend The Sanctuary for anyone who is struggling with addictions, depression or other mental health issues. I sincerely believe and know the love and care you will receive at The Sanctuary will provide a life-line for freedom, hope and a changed life.

I have been honored to lead devotionals on Tuesday and Friday mornings over the past few years. We discussed the Faith from the Father, Hope from the Son, and Love from the Holy Spirit. We know the Spirit moves in the hearts, minds, and souls of those that attend including my own.

David Hoskins and his team are loving people well and transforming lives especially in the mental health areas including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and sexual addiction. I don’t know of any other Christian treatment and recovery program in the U.S. doing this type of life changing work.

I came to Sanctuary after being in several rehab programs over the years. I’ve struggled from a debilitating alcohol addiction since I was young. When I spoke with Dr. Sesie Akoto ti do a phone interview she made a statement. She said, “sounds like you need a solid relapse prevention plan.” She was right! They have a great relapse prevention program here which is working out great for me! It’s all about how our brain works and it’s amazing to recognize the signals that point toward relapse and nip it in the bud early on. I haven’t relapsed and I’m living my best life and working full-time! Thank-you Sanctuary Clinics.

I have nothing but great things to say about Sanctuary clinic. It’s very well run. It meets the needs of people suffering and the founder. David Hoskins is amazing. It’s nice to know that there’s a place like this that helps people that are so under misunderstood. On a scale of one to 10 I rate this place in 11

I was researching places for solid Christian trauma counseling, but they do not accept even trained service animals unless they have a “certificate” or “paperwork.” When I began to ask questions or try to talk at all about my situation, the man on the other end of the line kept interrupting me, and was quite rude. I asked him if it would be okay if i talked for a minute, and he kept talking over me, then hung up on me. Under the ADA (Americans With Disabilites Act), service animals are not required to be professionally trained or have a certificate which can very easily be bought on amazon, eBay and the alike. Yes, you can get a professionally trained dog from an organization but they are not even always well trained. I have had organization dogs try to attack my owner trained dog that alerts and responds to my medical condition and has been able to work in any and all environments perfectly even theme parks. This facility discriminates against a whole population of individuals who owner trained their service dogs, and could really benefit from biblical faith based counseling and support, but how can they get it if they don’t allow their medical equipment to attend? It’s really sad that people who love Jesus and serve Him are limiting others from receiving the healing love of Christ. If this facility is affordable and even accepts Medicare, a lot of people with that insurance have owner trained service dogs because spending upwards of $20,000 on a service dog is not always doable, in fact it’s not for most people with disabilities, which is why the ADA allows individuals to owner train. The only legitimate paperwork that you can obtain is from your doctor, which this facility will not accept. All registries, certificates you can purchase online, are scams.

Good morning Meghann, There seems to be a misunderstanding. First of all I am so sorry that you did not have a good experience with our care guide who answered the phone. Just for clarification we do not accept emotional support animals but we do of course accept service animals for people with approved disabilities. Below is a list of disabilities that are approved. The list is not exhaustive and if you do have specific questions about a particular disability please feel free to call. •Visual Impairments: Including blindness and partial blindness.  •Hearing Impairments: Including deafness and partial deafness. •Mobility Issues: Such as paralysis or conditions that affect movement.  •Mental Health Conditions: Like post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD), depression, and anxiety.   •Neurological Disorders: Such as epilepsy and multiple sclerosis (MS)   •Chronic Illnesses: Including diabetes and cancer.   •Autism: Service animals. can assist individuals with autism in various ways.

I spent time at Sanctuary for a month - June ‘23-July ‘23. I am a 21 year old young female in ministry. I had been diagnosed with severe depression, severe anxiety, ptsd, adhd, and borderline personality disorder. I never had a plan, but was sui cidal at the time, the thoughts were overwhelming. This came from a woman who worked in the church and been following Jesus for years. You will not regret the investment in Sanctuary. The grounds are beautiful - truly a sanctuary. The Spirit dwells there and I watched and experienced healing. Journey through mental health is a forever healing process, it wasn’t immediate, but after years of counseling and med trials, I learned so much to be able to take things home with me and spring into action to overcome negative thoughts. I met some forever friends. Every staff member really cares. You will feel understood. As with any healing journey, you need to be motivated and put the work in. It is intense. Lots of group sessions and tears shared. I could go on and on, but I will leave my five star review and tell you to go. Your health is important. God is madly in love with you and wants to heal you.

Before I say anything, YALL NEED TO STOP SENDING YOUR KIDS HERE AGAINST THEIR WILL. It isn’t going to help and all the young adults that were in that situation that I knew were either sent to another place to “fix” them, or they just moved out after finishing their month and never came back home. I’m not saying that sanguinary is all bad, it’s got some redeeming qualities. One of these is how affordable it is (compared to other similar programs). However it is really nothing more than a retreat/vacation. They really don’t provide the hands on care that some people really need. They don’t have suicide watch, they don’t have sedation just in case a patient goes out of control. They have swat, however the swat team is comprised entirely of patients that have been there for long enough that they are allowed to work for their stay. When I was there a few months ago they hired a security guard that was actually just an unarmed nurse in crocks. They lose track of medication constantly and sometimes accidentally give you to much or to little a dose of what your prescribed. The building itself is riddled with black mold. My roommate has a condition that makes her physical and mental health absolutely PLUMMET when she comes into contact with mold. So much so that a few days after she arrived she was tremoring so bad people actually thought she was detoxing from meth. She was also mistreated in a number of other ways but that would make this already lengthy paragraph into an even longer one. I will say I was originally so posed to stay in a yurt because that’s all I could afford but because of a number of inconveniences i ended up staying in a room without having to pay any extra. That’s why I gave them 2 stars, it was a hot summer, I may have died in a yurt. I’ll cover one more doozy and I’ll be done. A 20 something man was admitted and after they took him off all the heavy antipsychotics he was on he started to get a little wild. He ended up sneaking off campus to buy alcohol at the nearest gas station and when he came back he was drunk which triggered his mania. He ended up threatening to hurt some of the guys so the police were called and after he literally threatened the police he was taken to an actual psychiatric facility. You’d think that’d be the end of it but they brought him back for round two. This time he was still manic which made him unable to sleep for at least a couple days. Basically the same thing happened and he was taken back to a hospital. You’d think that time would really be the end, but a friend of mine that works there said they brought him back like 4 more times and will probably continue to. For the sake of sanguinarys privacy I won’t disclose why they keep letting him back but it’s definitely a bs reason. This is a lot, but I hope it helps paint a clearer portrait of what sanguinary is really like on the inside. I will disclose that I was there in August so it’s been a little while, but from what my friend tells me it hasn’t gotten much better. I will say the food is INCREDIBLE!!! what I wouldn’t give for some of their shrimp kebabs rn.

The staff at Sanctuary are the hands and feet of Christ. They are dedicated daily to the hard work it takes to work with mentally, physically ill and drug addicted people to give them the tools to find Christ and find true recovery. Our son’s transformation after being a patient is a miracle! He is now leading a positive, productive and service filled life. He is highly engaged in our family now, living independently, gainfully employed and continuing in recovery to work on living his best life. Thank you SANCTUARY CLINIC for facilitating a miracle in his life and the many others you minster to daily! PLEASE keep up the great work!!!

The right time, the right place and the right people. I was at the end of my rope on what to do for my daughters addiction. I was in dispair with no where to turn. God open doors and gave me direction on what to do. The Lord lead us there and opened the doors that she and me as a father needed. She was at her bottom, with no place to go, and Jesus, Sanctuary and the staff helped her to see there was hope. There was healing with Godly people who knew what to do. They gave treatment and encouragement and always had a positive outlook for my daughters life. They did not give up on her. Gods got this was their attidude along with the professional treatment that they provided. I had to turn all my doubts, anxiety over to God and Sanctuary Clinics. The staff at SC has made the greatest difference in my daughters life. I remember my daughters life before Sanctuary and see what has occurred in and with her since she has been with Sanctuary. It is a miracle and a blesssing. My daughter has been blessed with treatment, love, understanding and patience from those who are helping her. This could not have been possible without Godly intervention and the blessings of Sanctuary Clinics. My daughter is working very hard and I am so very proud of her and love her very much. She is doing wonderfully well. Praise be to God.

I believed my life had no purpose and my time on the planet was over. After a couple of years of seeking help, our family discovered Sanctuary. Here, I have found a community. The clinical team, leadership team and staff treated me as an individual. At all times, no matter the day I was cared for with dignity and respect. I have learned that the road to healing is a journey with ups and downs. Understanding God's love for me is making makes the journey a lot less lonely. Thank you Sanctuary for your love and compassion.

Our family has been incredibly blessed by the clinical care, compassion, love and support of the Sanctuary leadership team and staff. After crying out to God for 2 years we discovered this beautiful place that provides a holistic environment for healing. The health of the mind, body and soul are essential to each person. Sanctuary is unique in its approach to treat the total person. Our loved one needed care beyond our capacity and at the same time needed a program that allowed her to have family present and near. For us Sanctuary has created peace in the midst of a storm and a vision for how to walk into a meaningful future. Thank you Dr. Hoskins for your leadership, and your courage and wisdom to bring God's word to modern day healing.

I have struggled with mental health issues for several years as a Christian, and I came to Sanctuary when I was at my wit's end, struggling with depression, anxiety, and guilt. I had withdrawn and began to self-medicate with alcohol and cannabis. I thank God for the healing I’ve received at Sanctuary. The mental health therapists and all the staff are loving and compassionate and create the perfect environment for healing. I completed the program and haven’t felt this good in years, and by the way, the food is out of this world!

Sanctuary was a refuge amongst my despair. I knew only the Lord could heal me and being surrounded by believers in Christ was imperative, for my healing journey. Sanctuary prepared me in many ways; helping me create a firm foundation in our Lord Jesus Christ. I had therapist who invested in me by using sound biblical teachings. My mornings were filled with praise and the word at Chapel. The community and time to digest between sessions and groups assisted with my time to process with the Father. Sanctuary has a beautiful staff whom love to serve Christ and his children. My life is forever blessed to know and get to heal with his body, the body of Christ.
