Chef Casey and her team were absolutely great in providing food for our special event. Everything was easy with them: planning, tasting, scheduling. The food was delicious, as we tasted it. All the guests enjoyed the food. The job was done very professionally and no detail was missed. I highly recommend their team!

We ordered the Super Bowl special and had it a day early. It was tremendously tasty super easy to reheat and fed 6 people. (even had leftovers).

I recently placed an order for some frozen soups from fresh market kitchen. Casey’s Zuppa Tuscana is simply amazing. Reminiscent of The Olive Garden, it has sausage, kale and potatoes. It was really tasty and is easily one of my favourites.
I also tried her Smoked Brisket Soup. The brisket was tender and full of smokey flavour. Lots of carrots, baby corn and mushrooms will make it a very hearty meal.

Stopped into the Fresh Market Kitchen on my way home this afternoon to explore the shop. I took home the ‘ Moroccan Chicken and Basmati Rice Bowl ‘ .
Delicious! Really fantastic take home meal.
Chicken is tender and rice is perfectly cooked.
Will definitely be returning to try another dish, or more of the Moroccan Chicken!

Amazing food! The smell of the cherry wood smoker really gets my mouth watering! Tonight we'll be trying their reverse seared pork chops! So far we've had their frozen take home and heat up Ribs (phenomenal) with Mac and Cheese; Smoked Chicken Wings (we don't want anyone else's now!) and Meatloaf (love the BBQ sauce and the bacon on top is to die for!)
We have definitely been converted to the wonderful flavor and aroma of smoked food! Definitely a must try!!

Had the best time Friday night (Jun 25) enjoying great food with great company in Selkirk at the FRESH MARKET KITCHEN!! Happy Camper, Kevin Callan and his travelling companions (Kristine Redmond & Oliver, plus faithful Angel) stopped by on their tour of local hotspots for Haldimand Tourism and we all indulged in the best Burger with Pulled Pork + Brussel Sprout Slaw (and I don’t even like Brussel sprouts… but trust Chef Casey to make them delicious!) This amazing new find (for me) has lunch or dinner takeout and Saturday BBQs, plus Sunday Brunches that are worth the drive to Selkirk! (check out their website for hours / menus & extras like specialty coffees!!) Chef Casey Ruys & Caveman Rob Budgen (he who makes fire) strive to create what I call, real food… fresh-from-scratch, imaginative, using seasonal, local ingredients and is truly yummy!!!
