What a lovely, cozy cottage. It is a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful city.
☺ The cottage is absolutely beautiful, with all the old details. Everything you need is available and the bed is so good.

☺ The accommodation was beautiful, cosy, well appointed and its location was just perfect for the magnificent town of Stamford. One of the best stays we have had in the UK.

Cosy, well-presented cottage in the perfect location made for a superb stay in stunning Stamford!
☺ The cottage was everything we could have asked for and the location was perfect, with easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. We even managed to get a parking spot only a few minutes’ walk away. The view from the cottage of the sun setting was the icing on the cake.
☹ A welcome pack would have been a lovely touch. There were a few tea bags and coffee sachets, but a pint of milk would have been appreciated.

Absolutely lovely stay on the river in Stamford.
☺ Lovely. There is scaffolding and the entrance is right on the street, but we were told about that ahead of time and were prepared. It wasn't a big deal. The location is fantastic - right on the river and we had a view in spite of the scaffolding. Everything was spotless. The toiletries were very nice. It was well stocked with all the tools and utensils to make meals although we did not. It was cosy and bright. There were travel books, novels, and children's books and a nice television. Plenty given that Stamford is such a lovely town to explore that you really only come back at night to relax before bed.
☹ Everything was very nice. If I have to look for a complaint, the large bed could be a tad bit more comfortable. That said, I slept very well.

An attractive, comfortable, warm and well appointed house for a couple in a town setting.
☺ The location was excellent. We parked in the Wharf Road car park (£4.20 per day) which was a short walk away. The Toll House was next to the bridge and main road. Traffic was regular, but noise wasn't a problem for us. The kitchen and sitting room were well appointed and there were plenty of sockets. The bathroom was OK too, as was the bedroom, with dressing room, which had a very comfy bed.
☹ Nothing much at all, but we did have some difficulty with the electronic key pad for the entrance door. It didn't seem to like the cold weather. Of course it might have been finger trouble, but it happened on several occasions.
