Lovely seaside restaurant with rooms
Lovely food in a stunning location on the Victorian town seafront. Friendly service and a relaxed seaside feel! They also have rooms for a longer visit. Highly recommended.

☺ Loved this hotel by the sea.
Ideal location for us as we were going to Cardiff for the rugby.
Sid was extremely courteous, the room was very nice and the breakfast was amazing.
☹ Only thing I had an issue with was the bathroom door which was a slide across and was a little bit temperamental

Lunch on sunny day
We had lunch and drinks. Service was good as it was a little busy. It is the last restaurant as you come into the main area(where the pier is). Staff are friendly and polite.

Perfect location with sea views for a Penarth stay.
☺ Excellent location. Staff so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble and service with a smile. Lovely welcome. Sea view amazing. Breakfast high standard, good selection and delicious. Freshly baked thick chunky bread was a real treat!
We weren’t sure how easy parking would be, but we did find a free parking bay outside the property on arrival which allowed a 2 hour stay. We were then out in the evening but came back to lots of spaces available for free overnight parking.

Great value for money, with friendly staff
Stayed her for a concert in Cardiff (as did all the other guests that night). Really great, friendly and helpful staff. Room was simple but clean and comfortable, with a really comfy bed. Great location, an amazing breakfast and really good value for money.

Overnight Stay
A very well run restaurant and bar. We stayed the night and had 3 rooms, the breakfast in the morning was included and was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and we will certainly stay again. Next time we will be having dinner too as it looked amazing.

Fantastic place to stay. So friendly and helpful, we felt so welcome. We had three rooms and they were all lovely and the beds are so comfortable. Delicious breakfast and what a beautiful setting. We will definitely be returning and next time with our little dog. Thank you so much

Unusual, exciting food - a million miles away from a normal "curry"
Tonight was one of Sid's fortnightly Indian "curry cwtch" pop-up nights. Original, exciting and super-delicious Indian food, served family style. Easily as good as the Cinnamon Club in London (which is literally three or four times the price). And what's not to like about a meal that includes an amuse-bouche AND posh poppadoms??? Friendly, warm service - Sid and his team really care about you enjoying your night.

Sunday lunch
Sunday lunch was just awful, fatty beef, poor vegetables over priced by far. Did complain and he was very apologetic offered a free drink but we refused this is unacceptable when you pay £18.95 for one course sorry won't be back.
