South Florida Homeschool Resource is truly an answered prayer! As a working mom who has always wanted to homeschool her kid, it seemed impossible to accomplish. We took the leap last year and while it was a good transition, it proved to be difficult to attend many meet ups and plan a well balanced curriculum with my schedule even as a former educator myself. Finding SFHLRC has proven to be just what my son and I needed for our homeschool journey. I can’t express how fortunate I am to have someone such as Ms Eva in my son’s life. She truly cares about what she is doing in the homeschool community and i absolutely love her for loving on my son and all the kids as her own. I am grateful for the dedicated teachers as well and their innovation to making the classes fun and exciting but still full of great learning expectations and information. I love the flexibility that is provided here as well as different class offering that goes beyond the traditional school classes and really helps with life skills! My daughter LOVED video editing with Ms. Sarah. Not only did she learn so much, she came home excited to continue with video editing. I can’t say enough good things about this school! My boys absolutely love it, and as a parent, seeing their excitement for learning has been such a joy. They used to attend public school, where they were forced to fit into a rigid system that limited their potential. Now, at their new school, they are thriving—learning a full year ahead! The school has provided them with real-life skills that go far beyond the standard curriculum—like creating a business logo, learning to sew, playing chess, and even learning Spanish. They’ve had amazing hands-on experiences, like participating in a business fair, selling their own product, and engaging in job interviews as part of JA BizTown. Director Eva is absolutely phenomenal. Her passion for children's education is what first drew us in, but it's the entire school's staff and their innovative, caring approach to teaching that has kept us here. The personalized attention and encouragement my boys receive truly set this school apart. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to join SFLHRC!!!

I'm extremely happy with the decision to have my kids attend SFLHRC. They enjoy going to the center and cannot wait to learn new things. They have excelled with all the new challenges that came their way. I can say that SFLHRC has boosted my kids confidence drastically! After homeschooling my kiddos for over 5 years we were looking for a change and SFLHRC has been an answered prayer 🙏 My kids have been able to make friends, learn, play and most importantly have fun! The director Eva is wonderful and you can see in all the staff that they truly love working there. We cant wait to keep growing with this center!

My daughter has been attending the Microschool at SFLHRC, and we’ve had a very positive experience. The center is a close-knit community with a family feel. The teachers are all wonderful, my daughter is thriving, and most of all, she’s happy. I have seen huge growth in my daughter in every aspect—socially and academically—and I am confident that it has a lot to do with the environment she’s in. The children at the center are all good-natured, curious thinkers, well-mannered, and thoughtful. They are just so kind-hearted, and you can really see that the school fosters character development, collaboration, and inclusiveness for all learners. I believe that Eva, Jonathan, and all the teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful and go above and beyond for the children they serve. From what I have observed, the Microschool has very positive teacher-student relationships, a challenging and engaging educational curriculum, and a supportive culture. I believe their educational environment is influenced by the pedagogy of the amazing John Dewey, who believed that the foundation of education—and its core concept—is that children learn best by doing and through experiential learning and that education is interdisciplinary and interactive. SFLHRC is everything we had been looking for, and I’m so glad my daughter finally found her home away from home. The answer to our prayers. I can't say enough about this center and the amount of dedication put into it. My son is happy, thriving, learning, socializing and feeling like he has the best parts of school, minus the school. The classrooms are so warm and inviting as are all the teachers. There is no shortage of extra curricular activities. The academics meet kids at their level and the progress I've seen is just amazing. I don't have to ever fight my child to go to school. He's ready each day before I am. Thank you SFLHRC for making my dream school a reality for my child.

I am extremely happy that I found SFHRC for my 12 year old daughter. Eva and Jonathan were very helpful and EXTREMELY welcoming. The entire staff has been nothing short of excellent and my daughter actually enjoys going to school. She talks nonstop about what she did or learned at school on that particular day (which is a complete 180 from her previous school). There are so many different programs and a la carte classes in all different types of subjects which is extremely beneficial. 3-D printing, robotics, newspaper, yoga, etc are just a few classes that my daughter added to her regular curriculum last semester and this semester. The school science fair and tween dance were two more events that were awesome as well. I’ve also had the pleasure to attend field trips this school year which is awesome because parents get to partake in the adventure. Field day or color wars was a blast last week. The purple team fell short but they had so much fun! I’m very happy and grateful for finding SFHRC. They care about each child individually and it shows. Eva is amazing and has so much going on but seems to always have time for anyone that needs help. Thank you SFHRC!!!

SFLHRC has been like a miracle to our family. Mrs. Eva and Mr.Jonathan are amazing people, knowledgeable and dedicated to the school and to the kids. The school method has been great for our 8 year old and he doesn't feel anxious and stressed about 5 tests and 3 hours of homework which is what he was going through previously in a Charter school. I have been recommending SFLHRC to everyone we know!
