I would have put a better review had they not swindled me out of an additional $3000. The initial quote for anything extra outside of my insurance was $1900, that's what I signed the contract for. They went back to my insurance and haggled them up to $4700. Be careful with this company, you'll lose money, and you won't even have the professionalism to go with it. I've been finding roofing nails all over my yard! (which they said they would "scan" for) thankfully none of my kids have stepped on any. When I first started the project, I had one contractor, and then he left and I wasn't notified of ANYTHING going on with the project...when the money was due, when I would get my paperwork...nothing. I literally had to text the man, just to be told he left the company and I should contact "so 'n so" about what was going on because "he thought it had all been handled". Then I was tossed around some more...at which point they made it abundantly clear that they had no idea what they were doing and were still able to nab me for extra money.... they're a crap company and if I could leave less than 1 star, I would.
My roof never leaked until Southern RNR installed one on my house.
New roof installed in 2021. Within the first year it leaked significantly in two places. Caleb and another crew member responded fairly quickly and ‘repaired’ it. Within a year it leaked again, significantly, in one of the repaired places. This time I received no response after several messages were left with their office. After several weeks I drove to their office in person. The owner at the time, Jeremy Eubank, immediately prioritized my situation and came to my house personally the next day. He and another tech ‘repaired’ the roof again. He encouraged me to call him personally if there was ever another issue. He also apologized for the lack of response of his office. Fast forward two years later and the roof is leaking again in the same place. I began calling in June of this year and finally had Eric call me back after leaving specific details with their call center about my frustrations. Long story short, I was slow played for 3.5 months. I was told Eric or “Mike in operations’ would call me to set up a time to come out. When nothing happened, I would continue to call and leave messages. Eventually I would get a return call but it became ‘wash, rinse and repeat’. A tech, Mike (Sciandra?), finally came to my house and made an evaluation. He also said ‘My boss says we’re definitely going to take care of this’. He said he’d be out the next week. I gave him specific days/weeks that would work for me as we had an out of town trip planned in the near future. Then it became crickets for several weeks. I eventually went down to their office on Dickerson Rd and spoke with a tech (the office was a ghost town). He assured me I’d get some follow up. The only thing I got with my follow up was that my roof “is out of warranty” now. Again, I never had a leaky roof or ceiling damage until Southern put a roof on my house. Don’t waste your time with this company.

When those guys sales people knock in your door to earn your business please do yourself a favor and shut off your door in their faces
Here's what happened
On march 2025 they came to my house saying that my roof needs to be replaced and they will work with my insurance company to get it approved and get it all done without me worrying about anything.
We started the process and everything was struggling since the beginning always hard to reach any one from that team . First insurance denied it because they weren't using proper tool to do repairs test and they damaged those shingles and off course my HOA fines me twice about it, I tried over and over with them to do something about but they didn't,
I fought by myself with insurance company to send another adjuster out and finally I got it approved to full replacement on end of September . I was told they will build up my roof very quickly because of all of that wait time but instead of doing so it took them a month to send someone out to pick up which shingles we want and after that I was told my material will be delivered to my house on November 12 but it hadn't arrived. I called they said it was a delay because it is special order so my build up date will be on November 19 instead . decided to wait but guess what they didn't show up , so I called for them to lie again saying that they waiting for permit and they will get it done on December first. Guess what it is December 4 and I am still waiting.
Mathew, angel, Eric,Ramsey they are all liars don't believe them and never give these people your project I want to mention that it is the first time for me to give a bad review to anyone
We had a bad wind storm & several shingles had been blown off but our insurance company said it wasn’t enough to warrant a whole new roof. The owners were very knowledgeable especially when it came to dealing with the home insurance company. They were able to get the insurance to pay for our new roof (even after we had tried on our own & got turned down by the insurance company) with just a little out of pocket for us. They gave us several options for materials & colors & we ended up picking a beautiful color that greatly complemented the brick on our home. They arrived onsite within an hour of their projected start time and finished within two & 1/2 days. Everyone was very polite & pleasant. They cleaned up everything well after they finished & the owners checked in with us a few days later to ensure that the roof had settled in properly & we were pleased with their work. I personally think our new roof is beautiful! We would highly recommend this company if you ever need your roof replaced!!
Brent Jackson took special care to coordinate this job with minimal effort from me. From contacting insurance multiple times until he returned for final payment and everything it between, He is a true professional. They cleaned up afterwards and left no damage to shrubs or grass and not a single piece was old shingle was left anywhere. I highly recommend SR&R Co and you should request Brent to coordinate everything.
Horrible experience. The worst part is they do not honor their prices. I FILMED asking the final price. Its right on camera. Now months later they came asking for more money and threatening a mechanical lien which by the way is not legal in ******** unless you sign agreeing to this. Their response oh its in the contract now. It wasnt back then. I send them the video and of course they dont respond. Their prior salesperson told me he left because they were taking amounts and then calling the people asking for more. They made verbal commitments they didn't uphold. I was very clear I had other quotes and would not agree unless it was under a certain price. Extreme disorganization . The price changes every month. Days ago the balance was under $3000 and now is almost $14000. This has happened over and over. They all just blame one another. Promised a referral bonus for putting sign in yard. Would not recommend the business due to these deceitful practices. Also ask for proof they are affiliated with ******************* as they claim. They arent local.
Southern Roofing and Renovations (SRR) broke the law and stole my money.SRR broke the law by depositing my $64k insurance check for damage repairs into their bank account without approval or endorsement from my mortgage company, who was designated as a payee on the check and required by law to endorse. This action prevented my mortgage company from maintaining oversight of repairs and metering funds only when repairs were complete and inspected by a 3rd party.SRR installed a faulty roof on my home (which leaks) and omitted all soffit and whirly bird venting that previously existed. They also used ridge shingle materials below the standard required by my insurance company.Over a year later, the roof had not been fixed and no other home repairs had been completed. Upon requesting to terminate the contract and receive a refund, which stated a max termination penalty of 2k, SRR pocketed egregious profits 20-30% higher than they quoted my insurance and approximately 10k in personal "commissions" for several employees. The owner of *** was given multiple chances to make this right, but chose not to take action.Proof that *** committed fraud is available upon request. On the front of the check, there were 3 payees listed: myself, SRR, and my mortgage company. On the back, you will notice there is only endorsement from myself and SRR - TWICE, but not my mortgage company. This is wire fraud.Beware.

100 year oak tree smashed my house. Someone on my street recommended a roofer. This roofer said they were also a "contractor".

Beware.
I had a huge tree limb come down on my roof during a storm. A friend recommended SRNR. Corey Robinson and Brent Jackson went above and beyond to deal with my insurance adjuster who was dead set on not paying for a new roof! Very knowledgeable and professional from day one! Highly recommend!!
You may need a new roof and now know it. Call these guys and let them do a free inspection. Brent Jackson in the Tupelo office took care of everything. His entire team is incredible from start to finish! They will do all the work and take care of the entire process. Their work is the best in our area! I recommend everyone I know!!!
