Very good tour Lovely tour of Cretan villages and visit olive oil farm in Sitia area (Eastern Crete). The pick up from our hotel was prompt and the tour was tour very well organised. The German guide took the trouble to explain a bit about each stop to us after she'd finished the talk for the German group. We were very grateful for this as my German was not really good enough to understand everything and then translate it for my companion (who speaks no German at all). Only downsides were the commentaries, in both German and Czech, were very long, so it was hard to relax and enjoy the coach ride. Also, a German woman sitting in front of us turned round and asked us to be quiet, in a not particularly pleasant way, when I was translating the commentary for my companion. We really were not speaking very loudly at all, conscious that people were trying to listen to the guides and we were not the only people talking through the commentaries, so I think that was a bit unnecessary.

Hole in the Water We booked a tour of Chrissi Island in Crete through this agency. Once the booking was completed, we received the confirmation email, but no information on the type of boat and the place to meet. On the morning of departure, we decided to first stop directly at the agency to ask for information since the only thing we knew was to go to the port of Lerapetra at 10.00. Once we arrived at the agency we were told that due to a problem with the website (which gave availability of 9 places), the tour was full and they had not reserved seats for us. luckily we didn't pay immediately, we probably wouldn't have seen the money again (80 euros per person). They were nice to try to call other boats (I think, they spoke in Greek), the fact is that we couldn't go to Chrissi. We don't recommend it
