Hi,
I’m contacting you regarding my recent order of the £20 Mystery American Sweet Box from So Sweet.
The box I received was nothing like what was advertised, and I’m honestly really disappointed.
According to your description, the box should include:
• 2 cans of drink
• 2 savoury bags
• 2 candy bags or pillow packs
• 2 theatre boxes
• 18 wrapped mini candies
However, this is what I actually received:
• Fanta Grape
• One energy drink
• Cheetos
• Lays
• Swedish Fish that were already opened when I received them
• Block sweets
• Warheads
• A random, unwrapped sweet just loose in the box
Not only is the contents list completely different from what you advertised, but receiving an opened packet and an unwrapped sweet is honestly unacceptable and unhygienic.
I would like this resolved as soon as possible. Please let me know whether you can offer a replacement that matches the advertised contents or a refund for the order.

Avoid
AVOID GO ELSEWHERE! I ordered a £50 mystery box and all items either were extremely out of date or very close to being out of date.
I did not order a out of date box, I ordered a normal box!
I emailed pictures of items out of date and close to date.
I put out of date items in the bin as you would as sweets and crisps very out of date are disgusting to eat.
So sweet wanted the box back meaning for me to post it back when I do not have time for that and this was a fault of there's not mine.
I wanted a refund as you would as I am out of pocket! Obviously refund was refused by so sweet and that there is rubbish customer service as I more then likely would have purchased more items but I 100% will be going elsewhere! Avoid at all costs and spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

There is a wide range of sweets suitable for everyone🫶🏼 most sweets have deals on or are in bundles! Prices are very cheap for what you are getting! Delicious sweets!🍭 kids love them🍬

Abcess Gummies
These were not easy to peel at all, and the grape flavour was incredibly underwhelming. To peel these bad boys, you have to sacrifice your fingers and get real sticky, something someone of my proclivity does not appreciate without due warning. The gel inside is a yellow colour, and not like the image on the pack at all! Reminded me of biting into an abcess. Two words, FALSE ADVERTISING.

Ordered 3kg of mixed sweets which are excellent value however I also ordered a £20 mystery box and I have to say it's just complete tat, bar 1 packet of lays crisps the rest I could of got easily from the likes of home bs b@m ect, it's all little tatty things like love hearts rainbow drops, warhead chews to name a few, wouldn't buy the box again very disappointed there is absolutely no way this box has £50 worth of content either as advertised.

Mystery Box and chasing delivery
Ordered late November and had to chase order a week later as not heard anything regarding delivery which was disappointing.
Happy with the pick and mix sweets I ordered and got what I expected.
Took a punt on a mystery box of expired sweets. For £15 I was pretty disgusted with what I received. Half of them went in the bin: A tub of some gloppy yellow gel, some blue crisps which were so hot they were foul, a tiny sticky lollipop in a dispenser which was so past it it was inedible, a car attached to a sticky bright blue lolly. I was actually sweets not kiddie junk and flavoured crisps which were ‘novelty’ and not edible.
I wouldn’t bother ordering such a box again.

Lays American Barbecue crisps
I ordered Lays Barbecue crisps from the American Snacks section. I received the European ones with the foreign flavour description on the packet. These are not the same strong smokey flavour as the American ones. They are thin, pale and not much flavour. I only ordered them because they were advertised in the American section. Had I known I would be sent EU ones I wouldn't have ordered them. Other companies usually add something like EU or made in EU to their description so customers can decide I they want to order them. I emailed So Sweet to complain as I had been misled. The reply I received just said Lays are also made in Europe and that I can always contact them to ask the country of origin. I'm sorry but if something is advertised as American then I expect them to be the genuine product and not have to contact the supplier to check this.

Disappointed with the delivery
I did expect it to arrive on time nothing was mentioned on the website stating that there is a delay on the delivery so on this time not happy as needed the sweets for an order I had.

However, we did advise customers on our website from 27th November that shipping was currently taking between 5-7 working days to fulfill orders due to the unprecedented number of orders we have received in this seasonal period. Love them everytime I've ordered been so easy and if I have any problems because mistakes can happen we are only human lol they are understanding and very helpfulful in what ever the situation

Poor customer service
Parcel was out for delivery by Yodel, tracking was working, got a message stating that the parcel has to be returned to so sweet as it was damaged.
Emailed so sweet 7 days ago and am still awaiting a reply.

Advent Calendar
I've ordered from So Sweet a couple of times and always been pleased with my orders. This year I decided to try the advent calendars for the kids for the first time. We've been so impressed with them, they are huge and well made, the variety of sweets is excellent and each calendar is different so they are not getting the same sweets on the same day. My older son likes to look at the back to see what the sweets are called. I definitely plan on ordering them again next year
