We could not have asked for a better place to bring our 5 month old baby and energetic GSP for our first family vacation. They had everything we needed (and extra whenever we asked) in the room, including good morning coffee, comfortable bedding and the BEST smelling body wash and hand soap. All members of our family were welcomed and cared for at Somewhere Inn.
Simply put, this place is well worth the money spent. 👍
Perhaps this can be a bit boring if you come expecting a lot of sights around in the early Spring. But if you are looking for a place to relax, there is no place more perfect than this one. 🌄
As many people have already commented on the facilities, staff, and interior of the room, I will not say more. All of the compliments are true. 💯
This place is perfect, at least for me. I am already planning our next visit. 🛸🚀

The perfect getaway. Impeccably designed rooms - every little detail has been considered and thoughtfully executed - from the cohesive colour palette, to the quality brands and artists they’ve chosen to highlight throughout the space, to the emphasis on comfort and relaxation; Somewhere Inn truly checks all the boxes. But above all: the service and kindness of the staff make this experience one of a kind. I would absolutely recommend to any & everyone.

The "Bottle Shop" where you can purchase local beer, cider wines and a great selection of munchies from across Canada. Also souvenirs like candles, tshirts, soaps, etc.

Loved our stay at the Somewhere Inn Calabogie! The rooms were comfortable and well appointed! Can’t say enough about the service especially from the front desk staff, they were awesome!

We had a beautiful stay at the Somewhere Inn. The room was perfect. Beautifully decorated, peaceful, with a lovely fireplace and a gorgeous big bath—perfect for a little getaway from Ottawa. The bed was super comfortable (Endy mattress!), the sheets were soft. There was a nespresso machine for our morning coffee. We loved it all. The staff sent us a playlist for our drive down, made dinner reservations for us, offered to have snacks or breakfast delivered to our room. They went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. I will definitely be going back! 💕

I was really excited to stay at somewhere in after reading about all the reviews. Unfortunately despite our initial excitement, there were a few things which significantly impacted the stay. First off, the window heater in the room was extremely loud to the point both my partner and I were woken from sleep multiple times. The fireplace in the room was beautiful, but that in it self was quite loud. The noise pollution in the room due to these heating sources was quite loud and because of this, neither of us were able to sleep through the night.
A few other little points.
- Unfortunately there were no complementary s'mores kits as alluded to on their website. This was something we were looking forward too and were quite disappointed that this was not offered despite being advertised.
- we brought our dog and while he got a bandana, there were no dog treats part of this package as mentioned on the website.
- given COVID, we were notified that there would be no housekeeping/changeover services while at the motel. while i understand the reasoning for this, I would have hoped the lack of these services would have been reflected in their price
A few positive notes
- room was nicely decorated - truly as nice as on the website.
- the soaker tub was quite nice and something used a lot while on the trip (and was 100% the highlight of the room)
- the little motel shop with wine and other items was quite cute and staff were helpful
- beautiful location across the lake, i believe the grounds would be much nicer in the summer with the extra space
- painless contactless check in and out process which was extremely easy to use.

I am sorry that the heating in the room made for a night of interrupted sleep, we understand that isn't ideal when on vacation. We absolutely loved our stay at Somewhere Inn in Calabogie. The rooms are so beautifully curated. You can tell that there is clear intent behind every design feature, decoration and products provided in the rooms. They have done such a great job at featuring Canadian companies. Everything is set up in a way that all you have to do is relax! Very dog friendly, they even gifted our dog with a bandana! The staff is super kind and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. We stayed in a king room with soaker tub. Comfortable bed, spacious room and excellent service. Highly recommended. And we could bring our dog! Very enjoyable stay!

The staff were incredibly accommodating, rooms were very clean and our dog Zoé enjoyed her stay and proudly sports her complimentary bandana.
