I closed on my house recently and wanted to give a huge, huge shout out to Dylan Montefusco my loan officer. From the first step of me calling to the last step of saying goodbye, he had my back the whole way. My file was a bit complicated, but he never gave up on me and got me through. His communication style is transparent, honest, and no time is a bad time. If you reach out to Society, ask for Dylan because you will get no better a person than him. I wish him, his wife, and little boy the absolute best!

It does not let me give a 0 star. They are so slow. They changed my husband and my usda to fha and then an fha removing me from the loan altogether. Then the closing changed 5 times. Our poor realtor. He deserved so much better. So did the title company. I would never ever recommend this company to anybody, ever. Plus CJ or Chris, he lacks competence and communication.

SophiaSophia Society mortgage calls numerous if times throughout the workday (most was 4 in a 8hr span). No voicemails were left. However, that's s not the main issue. Last week, someone named Sophia from here calls while I'm in class (on my 15min break) and started off well with introduction and asking for information to proceed. I explained that I'm just casually browsing homes earlier and was unable to proceed with a loan approval process because of class. I've said no 3 times politely even explaining that i didnt want to waste her time or mind. Plus, I had to get back to class. After saying that, she continued asking for more information to proceed. After the 4 time she asked, I hung up.
Today, I get another call from Sophia asking again. This time I was very blunt - recalling last week's conversation with her. I said I'm not interested in proceeding with her. Just as I was asking to go ahead and put me on a do not call list, she hung up. I called back to finish that sentence and that I would report to the BBB for how she handled the interaction. She hung up again.
I will never work with Society Mortgage or recommend anyone to them for any future lending for their home buying process or any other kind of business.
