I did my flying at SoCal Aviation Inc., and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my aviation journey. The flight school maintains a high standard in every aspect.. from aircraft quality to training culture, and the environment is truly supportive, disciplined, and student-focused.
All the instructors here are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and committed to helping you succeed. Not to forget Capt. Rudy Cantu and Capt. Jimmy, I flew with them, and both are really good at what they do. A special thanks to Capt. Suhail, who guided me from the very beginning till the very end of my training. He was constantly there whether it was flying, ground concepts, or even the detailed documentation and paperwork. His support, clarity, and dedication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Truly one of the best instructors I’ve ever trained under.
If you’re looking for a flight school that genuinely cares about your growth and creates strong pilots, I highly recommend SoCal Aviation Inc. They helped me finish my flying as early as possible, and I’m grateful for the experience.

I’m writing to share serious concerns , about my experience at SoCal aviation inc , i feel compelled to highlights several troubling issues:
-financial practices:
There were instances where i felt the school prioritized profit over students success, including unexplained delays and additional fees, that seemed unjustified.
-Licensing issues:
It appeared that those who paid more received preferential treatment regarding licenses which underminded the integrity of the training process.
-scheduling and maintenance delays:
My check-ride was delayed multiple times with excuses ,about Aircraft maintenance, leading to significant disruptions in my training schedule.
-Excessive ground school:
I found the emphasis, on Ground school felt more like a strategy to increase costs rather than a genuine educational focus.
-Examination failures:
I faced multiple failures on the check-ride exam , and endorsements often voided unexpectedly , causing further delays and frustrations. that caused you to pay more and extra.
-Safety concerns:
There were alarming moments during training including an incident involving the cross fuel valve that raised serious safety issues ,that i changed the previous Instructor and he has took,the airplane that I was gonna fly after him and he do traffic pattern with the other student and he left the cross fuel valve in the left tank and he made it run for fuel and when he done his flight so I have to take this airplane to go pass my check ride if I’m not, an experienced Pilot and i follow the checklist and mention that the cross fuel valve in the left tank. It’s was going to cause a major injury,
And i had one,passenger on bord he had check-ride for ppl ,There gonna be a serious injury.
-instructors changes:
There were frequent changes in the instructors which disrupted, my learning process and made it hard to build a consistent training relationship.
-unnecessary flight hours:
It feels like the school focused on extending training hours unnecessarily often ,pushing me to fly more than what was truly needed for my skill level , and push for more simulator, even if i had a license.
-Lack of progression:
Instead of focusing of my development, there was a noticeable emphasis on making the training progress longer and more costly,
Also quality of instruction,
I would not recommend Socal Aviation Inc based on my experience, I hope they can address these issues, for the benefit future students.
I want to be clear that my decision to leave is based on my negative experience with SoCal aviation inc , they engage in questionable practices, such as buying reviews, and I believe they are not a good investment for time or money.i got all my licenses left over in Venture north aviation in short time ,has provided me with quality training, and I’ve been able to achieve all of my licenses in a short time .

SoCal Aviation is Great!
Over the years, I have worked with numerous flight instructors at five different flight schools in California. And through that experience I found SoCal Aviation has the best instructors who are very knowledgeable and are a pleasure to fly with. The facilities are new, high tech, and spacious. The planes (numerous C172 & a Tecnam Twin) are always extremely well maintained and they have the newest/cleanest flight simulator for C172 and twin engine training. Lastly, the training atmosphere here is like no other and was the best place for me to complete my Instrument and Commercial ratings as well as to pursue my CFI rating.
I had an incredible experience at SoCal Aviation Inc! The instructors are highly knowledgeable and passionate about flying, making every lesson engaging and informative. The aircraft are well-maintained and equipped with the latest technology, which really helped boost my confidence as a new pilot.
Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to learn to fly. Highly recommend SoCal Aviation Inc for anyone looking to start their aviation journey!

Really excited to be attending SoCal Aviation for CFI, the program is really well run and professional. The instructors there are top notch. They are not only highly experienced pilots but also passionate teachers. My instructor, Henry, is very knowledgable and takes the time to ensure I'm able to teach each concept thoroughly and is always patient with my questions. Feeling very confident going into my checkride. Highly recommend!
As a student pilot working on my PPL, I’ve had an incredible experience at this flight school. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and always make sure I feel comfortable and confident during every lesson. The curriculum is well-structured, and the hands-on training with their fleet has really helped me improve my flying skills. BEST flight training!! Don’t go anywhere else, trust me. They’ll treat you like family, they DON’T OVERCHARGE or take advantage, they just want to see you succeed. Highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely top notch flight school! I’ve flown with several others throughout Southern California, but this was by far the best training experience I’ve ever had. Suhail answered my initial inquiry immediately and invited me in to check out the school. I liked what I saw and together we laid out a plan to help me achieve my goal of obtaining my Instrument Rating. He paired me with Rudy, hands down the best flight instructor I’ve ever had the pleasure of flying with, and in three month’s time I passed my instrument checkride! Best Flight Training.
I’ve flown with several other flight schools here in SoCal, some good and some not so good. SoCal Aviation has been one of the best by far! They are here to make pilots and they excel at doing so. Yes, there are cheaper rates to be found elsewhere, but I challenge anyone to find a school more dedicated to quality training anywhere. I came to them to complete my Instrument Rating and was paired with the best flight instructor I have ever flown with! If you are serious about achieving your aviation goals, this is definitely the place to get it done. I highly recommend this school!
I earned my instrument rating at this school, and I genuinely want more students to be aware of it. The instructors, including Suhail, the owner, are not only friendly but also incredibly supportive. Recognizing that aviation often involves financial challenges, they navigate this aspect efficiently.
