Brandon does a great job of sniffing out problems and getting things running again when the heat is on. He is also very intuitive with respect to preventive maintenance, reducing the likelihood of unexpected critical failures.

Update: I trust Chad and SMW so much I signed up for their maintenance program. No hard upsales which I appreciate. This is the 2nd time I have maintenance performed by SMW. I like that they take pictures and give their honest opinion about the system. And both guys were very professional and friendly and most importantly knew their trade. I highly recommend them.

After 7 years, we are still thrilled with our system and the excellent service we’ve received from the staff and through the technicians. They all are knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Additionally, we receive great communication from them. Paul Miller completed our routine maintenance serviced and as always, he was fabulous!

This company is beyond amazing. They have taken great care of me for the past 3 years. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone in need of HVAC. From switching gears coming for one reason and having a whole different problem to fix and taking it head on to make sure I’m comfortable and have a cool house! 7/17/24 update - I had David R. at the house for our yearly maintenance. David provided some system update recommendations with quotes. I'm grateful for the services and recommendations. David provided professional and friendly service, I would definitely recommend him! Joe and Alex were awesome! Excellent communication though the whole process. From the time they came and inspected the job, to providing the quote to scheduling installation and contacting me when they were on their way the day of the installation. 5 STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 I'm writing this as I enjoy my new a/c unit and get ready to read the instructions for all the cool new features of my new thermostat! I'm very happy that I chose SMW vs all the other places I looked into. Thank you everyone at SMW, keep up the great work!

My experience with SMW refrigeration is that it was my good fortune to find this company. Starting with Brandon and Zeke, I think, coming to give us a quote that was quite reasonable, to Bryan coming to make sure things were correct for the installation to Joe and Jeff and 2 other techs that made sure we had a portable A/C while the unit was installed. Very neat and professional, every person I have spoken with has been very nice. Best thing is the way this unit works, I couldn't be happier. I will choose SMW to do all my a/c service and replace my other unit in a couple years. Thanks to Scott and his whole team.

I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to reach out to remind SMW that we are on a service plan for heating and AC like some other service plans for our home. They have reached out to schedule service appointments on time and in accordance to the agreement. Brandon was very professional and knowledgeable and identified some issues needing attention to head off future system failures. Work was completed satisfactorily and work areas left clean at a reasonable price so a good value in my opinion. We would recommend them to those seeking AC and heating systems needs. Not the first company to service our system but may be our last.

SMW came out quickly and performed a full inspection on my AC unit, and took care of a clog so any condensation could drain properly again. They cleaned the outside of my outdoor unit and made sure everything was working properly. Jeff was the technician and he was on time, professional, thorough, and answered any questions I had. Easy to work with and competitive pricing. I highly recommend SMW Refrigeration and Heating.

I’ve been a customer since around 2007 and it’s because of the fair prices, super knowledgeable and friendly techs, great communication, quality and guarantee of services, and I know they aren’t trying to upsell me. The last tech I saw was Branden and I highly recommend him and SMW.

UPDATE 7-18-24 - Adding to my previous review: SMW just keeps getting better and better! Had a freak power surge that did some serious damage and Wayne bent over backwards to work with me and get my AC back up and running with little in the way of tears and gnashing of teeth! These people are starting to feel like family 🙂. Special shout-out to Bryan Herrera. You'll never find a better A/C dude! He's smart, friendly and patient. He was able to explain things to me on my level with patience and kindness. 🥲 And he too is a dog lover! (See previous review). If you can be MORE than a lifetime customer, then I certainly am! (back to previous review.....) I can't say enough good things about SMW! I've been using them for years and have always had a positive experience. I had a problem with my furnace last night after hours (about 3 am) and called their emergency number. I talked to Scott (he's the owner!) and he walked me through the whole process of what I needed to do until they could get someone out here. He was kind and knowledgeable and was able to put my mind at rest. That alone is enough to make me a lifetime customer. But it gets better! They had someone at my house at 8 am (how's that for fantastic service?!). My tech was Joe Rivera and he was totally amazing! He knew what he was doing, explained everything to me and patiently answered all my questions. He was professional and personable (he even gave milk bones to my dogs!) He went above and beyond what I expected and I will certainly request him whenever I need service. This is an amazing company and I would recommend them 100%! Thanks SMW, you've got a customer for life!

Brandon was amazing today going the extra mile to ensure our air conditioning system is optimum, even cleaning our filters. I am very satisfied with SMW and highly recommend them.

Company installed my new unit in 36 hours which is awesome. Took close to 3 weeks to get our attic drywall fixed so my wife wasn't able to use her closet for that time period. We had to hound them to send a guy out. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Jeff came after others tried to solve our problem. He was very thorough in his evaluation and was able to get us up and running quickly. Wish I could have him every time. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. Thank you very much Jeff
