Very professional and Friendly service

I recently attended the Smile Hub Dental Clinic with an emergency dental issue. From the initial phone conversation with the receptionist, through to the consultation with the dentist and her assistant the people i encountered could not have been any more friendly, professional, informative and understanding. I have since returned for a follow on check up and the experience is to the same high standard. I could not recommend this practice highly enough.

I was in need of urgent dental care and dentist I would normally use does not provide emergency dental care so I contacted Smile Hub in Bayside. I was seen on the day as per their commitment to do so. The issue with my tooth was identified, unfortunately an extraction was required.This was arranged for later the same day and all the expertise was on hand to perform the extraction painlessly. The follow up care came in the form of a email giving instruction on how to treat the area where the extraction was made. Overall very pleased with the service and I have made an appointment for a follow up examination of my teeth Two years later still attending and still very happy with the dental care I receive

I had a filling done on one of my front teeth in July 2023. Within 6 months part of the filing broke off. I contacted Smile Hub regarding the issue and the dentist I saw removed the previous filling and put a new one on the tooth (free of charge). The tooth was sensitive for a good week after the filing and is still sensitive now, which wasn't the case previously. I did find them obliging in rectifying the original problem and they did it free of charge.

I cannot recommend Dr Laura enough. I had bonding on my upper teeth & the results are unbelievable. So professional & Laura made me feel so at ease with her lovely manner.

Dr Anna made me feel very comfortable and helped me a lot throughout the procedure. I get very nervous going to the dentist so this made it much better for me.

I wish i could give zero stars... I had an appointment with Dr Laura Fee for a wisdom tooth extraction and she was incredibly rude to me. We had planned beforehand that I would be sedated, however when I sat down in the chair I suddenly found out that that wouldn’t be happening and was not talked through what to expect for the surgery that I would now be awake for, which added to my anxiety. Dr Fee told me that if I wanted to be sedated it would be another €450 (I had already paid a €450 deposit when checking in) and could not be done that day, even though I had taken a week off of work for recovery. I also did not get back the money I had already paid, despite not receiving any procedure. Dr Fee was also incredibly condescending about the whole ordeal and I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I would warn younger people in particular about going to this dentist, I did not feel like they took me seriously. Overall, the lack of debriefing I received about the procedure and the confusing change of plans, coupled with the doctor’s attitude and bad manners, left me very dissatisfied with this dentist’s office and I will be looking elsewhere. I have also read through other reviews and have seen that they are all in agreement about the horrible treatment of patients by Dr Laura Fee, please look beyond the five star reviews as I hear the people writing those reviews are compensated for the good review. I’m surprised she hasn’t had her license revoked.
