I Spoke to the technical department today to find a fault on an electrical boiler and the gentleman I spoke with was polite professional friendly and knowledgeable. I also spoke with the lady first who was very helpful. Thank you for your assitance today. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately I can’t give a good review. I have had a boiler for a few years and it is extremely expensive to run. The result the boiler is only used when it is absolutely necessary. For instance it is never used for showers, an electric shower is used instead. In addition to this, it breaks down and costs a fortune in spare parts. I could not in all conscience ever recommend these boilers. They seemed like a good idea at the time but in hind sight was a terrible decision.
I tried a local company and found that their engineers were no conversant with electric boilers. This company were excellent and engineers were so knowledgeable. Wouldn’t use anyone else . Great service as usual.

Thank you for your feedback, we learn from every one of them, good and bad. I just wanted to clarify a couple of things about the quote.
I've reviewed the notes from the engineer's visit, and I just want to give a bit of context around the labour cost. This wasn’t just about flushing two rads and a towel rail. The system showed signs of contamination, with rusty water present. The pipework has been altered in the past and is not in the best shape—hence the recommendation for a proper power flush and clean, especially to protect the new boiler and maintain warranty compliance.
As for the install cost, the property needs a full combi swap, including the boiler being repositioned, upgraded safety measures, electrical and plumbing compliance, and certification. It’s not a basic plug-and-play job, and we quote to cover the full scope without leaving you exposed to surprise extras or warranty issues later down the line. We never inflate quotes to discourage business, but we won’t cut corners either.
If you'd prefer to proceed using a different installer, that’s completely fine—we’re still happy to support with configuration over video or phone if you decide to go ahead with one of our boilers.

The most unprofessional company I’ve ever met. Our process started when I wrote a detailed email of what we needed, they didn’t reply/call me, so I email & fill in their contact form again. Finally after a month my wife telephoned them & they answered (1 month later). It’s important you know that it was ONLY that we are almost neighbours in Windsor that we stayed persistent.
The only way to move forward to get a boiler is to pay £60 for a man to come & look at. We arranged a date after paying the money & staying off work for him to arrive, very unfortunately he didn’t turn up, so I call them up & they say I must wait for a new appointment the following( no sorry we didn’t turn up or reason why) week. The following week a man arrived & as it’s a gated area I needed to give him a parking permit, he replied I won’t need a permit as it will just take less than 10mins (this was shocking first meeting). Inside our apartment any question's we asked he avoided & kept saying they would answer the questions. I was deeply unsettled by this man not answering anything & actually rushed away after just 7mins, he said he can’t answer any of our boiler problems especially & left.
After not receiving help or guidance after a few days we wanted our £60 back as it wasn’t correct at all to be charged for any service or question answering. Having taking half a day off work waiting for his arrival & he not turning up & then later taking some more time off work for him to arrive & help/answer questions, & just being here for 7mins.
I’ve had many quotes for the new boiler during the past weeks & it’s no fee for it from anyone of the company’s. All other installers & boiler fitters DO NOT charge anything.

Subject: Appalling Customer Service - Repeated Fault, Refusal to Honour Warranty
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received from your company. I contacted you today regarding a recurring issue with a part that was supposedly repaired in December. This part has begun leaking again, indicating a clear failure of the previous repair.
During my initial booking in December, I was explicitly assured that the repair would be covered by a one-year warranty for the same part. However, the customer service representative I spoke with today contradicted this, claiming that the warranty only extended for one month. This crucial information was never disclosed during the original booking.
Had I been aware of this limited warranty period, I would have opted for comprehensive boiler cover, which would have provided me with unlimited call-outs. The representative's refusal to acknowledge the initial warranty agreement, coupled with their insistence on charging another call-out fee for the same faulty part, is unacceptable.
Despite my clear explanation that the issue stemmed from the same component previously repaired, the representative remained dismissive and unhelpful. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and the company's prior commitments is deeply disappointing.
This experience has demonstrated a complete lack of integrity and transparency. I strongly advise potential customers to seek alternative boiler services that prioritise honesty and customer care. I will not be using your company again and will be sharing my negative experience with others.

• Our Terms & Conditions (https://www.electriccombiboilerscompany.com/terms-and-conditions/) have always been consistent. The repaired part includes a 12-month warranty, while the call-out (visit) coverage—covering any potential follow-up visits at no extra charge—applies for 30 days. Beyond that period, a new call-out fee is applicable.
• The invoice (No. 132551/091224/71, dated 9 December 2024) for £84 on spare parts used remains unpaid. In line with our policies, warranty coverage does not extend to unpaid parts or services, and late payment charges apply.
• We have not altered or misrepresented any of our terms. These were available for review at the time of booking, both in your Calendar Booking Confirmation, the Job Report and our Website, and you agreed to abide by them when booking the call-out.
We take pride in our straightforward approach and our commitment to ethical business practices. We remain open to discussion and encourage you to contact us if you would like to resolve the outstanding balance or have any further questions.

We had a problem with our electric boiler. We called the electric boiler company and they sent an engineer the next day who was very professional he found the fault gave us our options and fixed the problem for us while there. Very good service. Ray
I am extremely impressed by the very helpful service I have received from ordering to delivery . I needed to replace my thermostatic controller after 10 years. When I rang up I received very helpful advice on suitable replacements. I was sent a link to enable me to easily order one I had chosen from the electric boilers company including instructions for what my electrician needed to do. Finally the small package was delivered the next day. Since I was not at home I rang the company to check the delivery . I was sent a photo of the package left in my post box. Simply brilliant . 100% recommend
