We boarded our puppy, Moss for about a week or so over Thanksgiving. The app was nice and easy to use; we also really appreciated the pictures you get every day! When we went to pick Moss up, I was SHOCKED by his state. Poop and pee stains…he smelled awful. I watched dogs as a side gig for a very long time and couldn’t IMAGINE returning a dog to their owner the way Moss was returned to us. It’s been a couple days since Moss has been home and I noticed he was not himself. Coughing up mucus, lethargic, etc. Sure enough the poor guy has kennel cough. We will definitely be taking a different route the next time Moss needs overnight care.

I've been a member of the park and have utilized daycare services multiple times a month now for going on close to a year. My dog is always pumped to head there and ready for naps when we get home. The facilities are great but even better are the people working there. Everyone is always smiling and welcoming. I recently had a technical question with my account and Jalen was on top of it and had it resolved within minutes. He's truly awesome. The level of service is top notch and I'd recommend Skiptown to anyone.

Skiptown is hands down the best dog park in Atlanta. Awesome dogs, staff, facilities and food/drink menu options! Very glad it is 21+ as my dog is not kid friendly.

Skiptown is a great place for my high-energy pup to run and play while I either relax in the sun or even bring my laptop and get some work done! It smells 10x better than the dog park and none of that nasty sand. The Skippers are helpful with regulating dog interactions so everyone has a great time, they learn the dogs names, and keep water bowls filled. They even help with poop pickups!

Thank you so much for the amazing review, Rachelle!! We love having Remy with us and are thrilled to hear the dog park has become such a great spot for both playtime and productivity🚀 Our Skippers will be so glad to know their care and attention made a difference, from keeping interactions positive to keeping the space clean and comfortable🥰💜 We appreciate you sharing your experience and can’t wait to see you and Remy again soon!

I really wanted to love Skiptown’s boarding service, but our recent seven-day experience left me with major concerns about communication, transparency, and overall care. During the stay, we received the daily “check-ins” through the app, usually 4–6 photos and a few basic icons (happy, cuddly, playful, etc.). These were cute, but they weren’t actual updates. There’s no written summary for the day, no notes from staff, and no way to understand how your dog is really doing beyond emojis. For a week-long stay, that level of communication felt extremely surface-level. Before drop-off, I asked specifically about eating habits, because my dog doesn’t always eat consistently at home. I was told they would notify me if he stopped eating and might add a topper after a few days. Every single day in the food tracker, it showed “ate all food” at every meal, which is unusual for him, and honestly made me question the accuracy. If they changed anything (topper, flavor, prep), we were never told. Pick-up was also disappointing. After a seven-day stay, there was no closeout summary, no verbal update, nothing about how he did overall that week. They brought him out, handed him over, and that was it. No information on eating, behavior, bathroom habits, mood, or anything that changed while he was there. Within 30–60 minutes of getting him home, we realized something was wrong. He had almost no voice, no bark, barely a whimper, and even his yawn made no sound. It’s been almost 40 hours and he’s still extremely hoarse. We were given zero heads-up that anything happened that could have caused this. On top of that, his stool was extremely loose the moment we got home, loose enough to be concerning, with visible redness in it. That immediately raised questions about whether his food was changed, if a topper was used, or if he was given something that upset his stomach. Again, none of this was communicated. The issue isn’t that things can’t happen while a dog is boarding, of course they can. The issue is that nothing was communicated, not even at pick-up. No transparency, no notes, no warnings, nothing. As an owner, you’re left guessing and trying to piece together what could have happened to your dog while he was under someone else’s care. Skiptown can easily fix these issues by: • Providing actual written daily summaries (even short ones) • Notifying owners of changes in eating, behavior, or bathroom patterns • Giving a closing update at pick-up, just like any reputable boarding facility • Tracking and disclosing if/when they change food, add toppers, or notice sickness • Communicating immediately if the dog loses their voice, has diarrhea, or shows any abnormal signs The pictures are nice, but pictures don’t replace real updates. When you trust someone with your dog for a full week, you expect transparency and basic communication. Unfortunately, that was completely missing here, and that’s the most concerning part.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your boarding experience didn’t meet expectations and that the communication felt incomplete during and after your dog’s stay. Your concerns around transparency, health updates, and follow-through are completely understandable. We appreciate the suggestions you outlined and will be reviewing them closely with our team as we work to improve our processes. If you’re open to discussing the stay in more detail, we’d welcome the opportunity to connect directly and address your concerns.

Got a membership here back when they were still in the construction phase. No mention of not allowing kids….we had a baby and now cannot enjoy this park. They literally say because of the open bar it’s 21+. So in their eyes my 10 month old son is going to be trying to buy a beer….what a stupid rule. Heading back to Fetch Park since they allow us to enjoy the parks as a family. Wouldn’t have even got this founding member membership back when we did if we knew kids couldn’t go. Will be cancelling that as soon as possible. Overall, terrible experience with the company about this and would not recommend going here if you have a family. What a waste of money.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the frustration around our age policy. Our 21+ rule is in place not only because of safety, but also, due to our insurance and the way our space is licensed, but we understand how disappointing that can be for families who were hoping to enjoy the park together. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience and will make sure your comments are shared with our team.

The dog park is awesome, our dog loves it. The inside area could use a resolution to the strong pet smell.

***edited 11/20: where's the mural the founding members have been promised? At this time, perhaps you need to forgo the expense of some glamorous mural crew, and just get the mural done with a local designer and a wrap. You're way overdue on delivering on a very simple promise to deliver, which was a large part of all of us signing up early. Get it done ** edited 01/20: after several visits and a multi day boarding stay I'm very happy with the place. The experience has been worth the membership and hope it continues to stay the quality establishment they're begun as I can't wait for this place to open!! Signed as a founding member as soon as I heard about the build, looking forward to the amenities and another great place on the York Street Yards to visit. They say possible open date as soon as August 2024 and they're making fast progress on the build They have events at local dog friendly breweries to build the awareness, check one out if you can.

We love love love our groomer Chelsea! We have two Great Pyrenees mixes and it was really hard to find someone that would handle them and do a good job. Chelsea is able to do that and more. She makes them look beautiful and is so kind to them. Highly recommended Chelsea if you need a groomer!
