Didi is awesome. Our kitchen counter renovation project was not the right type of job for them but Didi still came out and did all the measurements and pointed us in the direction of somebody who can help us. Incredibly honest and will definitely use Sheiner for a different job in the future.

I'm a surgeon, and sometimes the best surgeon will tell you that you don't need surgery. Didi Sheiner responded to my request promptly and helped me understand that I needed to work with an architect first to decide if my major project was possible. My project was a bit small for Sheiner Construction in regard to what they do. But I was given good advice, wasn't hassled with an upsale technique like other competitors, and they seem like they genuinely care about their reputation and service. I may still need them for a kitchen renovation and my brother may use them as well. I don't have the business card handy as i wrote this so the consultant might be Didi? He also wanted me to call him to report how my experience with another competitor service that I plan on using just so he can know whether to suggest them to other customers. I think that shows a lot of initiative to educate himself on services that he doesn't offer but customers might need. Although I had no work done, the consultation was extremely helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to use Sheiner Construction for a future project such as a future kitchen remodel.

At first, when I wanted to remodel parts in my house that needed some cosmetics updating I was thinking to do it myself, but then I had a lot of work ahead of me and I couldn't afford to lose time by finding the right people to do the different things. I wanted to update in my house. I'm thankful for the opportunity to meet Didi, not only that I got the best job done in a price that I probably would never get by doing it myself. Probably the hardest part of any remodel is choosing the right contractor, and we're glad we went with Sheiner for our kitchen remodel! Everything went smoothly and turned out even better than expected. We got to choose our own materials, then Sheiner and their team brought the vision to life. We knew the schedule ahead of time and were able to make plans to be out of the house during demo and construction. We got to see the exact plans on paper first and they didn't start demo until the materials were ready to go. They even ended up finishing ahead of schedule! The results speak for themselves, it looks like the kitchen came out of a designer magazine. Every detail was taken care of and we couldn't be happier. He was the first one to respond to various inquiries that we sent out, and while we ended up not having his team to work on our project since it's a small sized project, he took the time to explain to us what our options are and made good suggestions on what we can pursue. We were considering replacing our shower because of some tile problems. Didi Sheiner responded quickly to our request and scheduled a visit the following business day. He came to our home, listened to our needs, and gave us honest, expert advice as to options. He did so knowing that it wasn't going to result in business for him because it became too small of a project. He was kind, friendly, and gave us the time anyway. If we ever have a larger project we will certainly check with him again. It was refreshing to meet such a genuine, competent person.
Didi Sheiner came out to give me an estimate, and when he arrived he stated my particular job was too small for his company to do, however, he still made the trip, was courteous and professional, and gave me some very helpful suggestions that sent me in a different direction to get my job done. I found him to be honest, and he didn't try to take advantage, which I thought was refreshing in today's business climate.
Shiener Construction helped us with our first big remodel project and I'm happy that we went with them. Our decision to hire Didi was largely based on his guarantee on quality, that the cost would not increase, and his very responsive communication. The goal was to put a bathtub in our 1950s house, which was a real challenge because there wasn't an obvious space for it. Rather than trying to add a tub to a stand alone shower, Didi identified an opportunity to replace a huge vanity in another bathroom with a tub and wall mounted sink. The bathroom turned out amazing. The builders closely followed our spec down to the fine details like tile placement. As I'm sure it happens in most projects, we encountered a really big problem at a crucial moment during construction. The tub had cracked after installation. I was really impressed how Didi and company had handled the situation. The timing sucked for everyone--right in the middle of the holiday season. But as promised, this problem incurred no additional cost to us even though it required a significant amount of remediation. The contractors that we worked with were very experienced and we felt confident when working with them. No one was dismissive of any concerns we raised, and being our first major home project, we had quite a few. I want to give a huge shoutout to Eddy, who did a masterful job with the tiles. Immaculate work. Absolutely love it. Also big thanks to Noel, Alberto, and Adrian, the plumbers who had to deal with a really tough rough-in and quirky fixtures. Everything is working great and looks fantastic. Luis, Santos, and Ricardo made some really big and nasty holes in our old plaster-on-lathe walls completely vanish. They helped me out with some work unrelated to the bathroom remodel too. Really solid work. Thanks to Didi, Dennis, Alex, and to all the other folks that made this happen. I know we couldn't have been the easiest customers to work with. But it was a pleasure and we'll keep you all in mind for the next project.
