Thank you to Shalom Journeys We highly recommend Shalom Journeys!We booked the Israel portion of an Egypt/Israel trip with Shalom Journeys, to be taken in March 2019. Unfortunately, due to a medical issue, we had to cancel shortly before our departure. We rescheduled for March 2020. While we were in Egypt, Israel closed its borders due to Covid, and we had to return home after the Egypt portion. Our travel insurance denied our claim twice, initially and after an appeal. Thankfully, Shalom Journeys gave us a voucher for the full cost of the Israel portion. Finally, after Israel being closed to tourists for two years, we were able to go there in March 2022. What a phenomenal trip it was! Everything ran smoothly, from being met at the airport upon arrival, to being dropped off at the end, with a fabulous tour in between. Our tour guide was wonderful, the tour stops were spectacular, and the organization of the tour was outstanding.Thank you, Jonathan, Shalom, and Aviva for the experience of a lifetime!

6 day Holy Land Tour Shalom,Thank you for the follow up email.Overall, we thought the trip was great! We didn’t get to see Bethlehem or Masada due to the Coronavirus situation and flooding on the road to Masada but our tour guide did his best to fill in - he took us to En Geti when we couldn’t get through on the road to Masada. That’s the way it goes sometimes.Regarding the Jerusalem Gold hotel, I was a little disappointed in that accommodation but, as you said, it is a Category D hotel. No worries, it did not reflect on the overall experience - we were thrilled with what we got to see. The Dan Panorama was a much better hotel more on-par with a Marriott or Hilton......and only a 20 minute walk from the Jaffa Gate of Jerusalem.I was most impressed with our tour guide, Aharon Yavav, he was extremely knowledgeable, detailed and went out of his way to satisfy our needs. There wasn’t any question that he couldn’t answer for us. Very high marks for him. The size of our tour group was perfect, as well. We only had 15 people in our group starting out and 11 after some left midway through the tour.In the future, I would like to return to Israel with my wife. I would like to do a similar trip with her. Additionally, my son and I visited with Aharon about hiking trips where we could hike through some of the ancient trails and historic landmarks. Holy Land Tour Shalom Journeys made our trip to Israel so easy! The communication from the beginning was top notch and responses to questions were made quickly. Transport to and from the airport was perfect and the people we encountered were very courteous and professional. We even received a call at our hotel the first night from Shalom to ensure we had arrived safely. The guide service that was provided was the BEST! Overall, this was an amazing trip and I would not take another without the assistance from Shalom Journeys. They are simply the best in the business!!

The best tour of Israel possible! My family vacation in Israel with Shalom Journeys was beyond my expectations. The whole booking process was very smooth, with Shalom himself going above and beyond what is necessary to ensure that all of us are happy with our choices of hotels and arrival and departure airport transfers. Not only that, but the trip itself was absolutely fantastic, educational and most of all FUN with our tour guide Meni Tzabari. This tour hit all the main highlights of Israel for much less than any of the "bigger" tour names with much more flexibility and "insider Israeli knowledge" from Meni.I highly recommend Shalom Journeys to anyone considering visiting Israel!

The Best Imaginable Experience Suffice it to say that the tour was comprehensive and extremely well planned to pack an immense amount of high quality experiences and accommodations (and food) into a very reasonable cost and time frame. The many pieces were seamless even when I mis-scheduled a personal event and Shalom got it straightened out. Our guides, Levi in Tel Aviv and Meni in Jerusalem, the North, the Negev and Eilat blended our groups of 7 and 13 into a traveling family with humor, great organization, and flexibility where needed. Their encyclopedic knowledge of Biblical, Archaeological,classical, and modern history combined with their own life experience built the 4000 year history of Israel in an always engaging and compelling way that was able to put the centuries long birth of modern Israel, the miracle of the agricultural accomplishments, and the most incredible spirit of the Israeli people in context. Shalom Journeys provided the structure to put together all the diverse pieces but their top flight driver/guides made it an experience that I will definitely do again with next generations. I could write two more pages.

Trip to Israel February 2020 We so enjoyed our trip. Shalom did a great job of sites to visit, an excellent guide and a wonderful bus driver!

Pastor Hogan Holy Land Tour Feb 2020 We had an amazing and unforgettable tour of the Holy Land. Many of our folks were first timers and so for them it will be considered the trip of their lifetime. Everything worked out so well. The flights, transportation, accommodations, meals, and the tour stops. Our travel guide was a wealth of knowledge. We learned a lot from him. He was also accommodating and flexible with us which allowed us to add some places to our tour that we had not planned to visit because of what we though would be time restrictions.

Israel Beyond Expectations This was a trip of a lifetime. It began with The VIP service at the airport, (and on leaving) our delicious welcome dinner, the choice of hotels which were outstanding and our tour guide Hillel. He made our little group of 7 strangers into a fun family willing to try just about anything. And we did! We saw the ancient archeological digs in Israel, historic sites relating to Israel’s birth, wonderful experiences in the Golan, and the most modern of Israel, The Weizmann Institute. A most memorable, was the stay at the Dead Sea and the tour of Masada. However truly there were so many wonderful sites and experiences it is difficult to pick just one. Warning: Israeli food it delicious, pants fit a little tighter on the way home.Our regular phone calls from Shalom at each new hotel gave us a level of personalized service unequaled. We would recommend this tour and Shalom Journeys without reservation.

Shalolm Journeys is the ONLY tour company to use!!! Let’s get the obvious out of the way, Israel is a trip of a lifetime and everyone, no matter what your religious affiliation is, should visit this part of our civilizations history. There are hundreds of tours that go to Israel and it is daunting to choose which one. So let me write unequivocally, that Shalolm Journeys is possibly the best and only one you should go with. From booking months earlier to after the trip ended, service and attention was 5 star. We did not have a good experience with ELAL and had our flight cancelled due to mechanical issues and actually returned home at 2AM with no idea as to what we were going to do about the whole trip. ELAL was no help. Shalolm Even called us in the morning and worked a miracle getting us on another flight with a different airline, re scheduled all of the transfers and rearranged the hotel. Since we lost almost 2 days of the tour, he put together an add on trip so that we could get to see and didn’t miss Eilat and Tel Aviv. He did this all within 24 hours and we met up with the group. The rest of the tour was life changing. Our tour only had 7 people on it and was unbelievably personal. We got to experience Israel like we lived there, visiting peoples homes, eating at local restaurants along with having lavish 5 star accommodations with incredible meals. Shalolm checked in with all of us at different times of the tour with personal phone calls. We met his son who lives in Tel Aviv and came to dinner with us. This was the most personal, incredible trip of our lives. Any tour can take you to the popular sites, which we did go to, but we also got to personally experience what it is like to live in Israel and that does not happen on just any tour. And as a follow up to our rough start with ELAL canceling the flight, Shalolm is helping us with putting in a claim to the insurance company for Trip Interruption. He is still working with us even after the tour is over. His help is above and beyond our expectations. Shalolm Journeys is the best tour company ever.

Trip of a lifetime Stayed in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Dead Sea, Tiberias, and Eilat. Visited Petra on a strenuous day tour. Took a dip in all the bodies of water, ate at the full range of Mediterranean food, Saw ruins and walked most of them This tour did not leave anything out. Shalom Tours ran a fantastic operation and we were never forgotten or left needing help at an airport. The hotels on this trip were all top rated and the seven of us bonded quickly to make the 17 day trip a success. Weather was wonderful and the Israeli people were wonderful. Our guide, Hillel was extremely knowledgable and did not heisitate to visit things off the itenary and show us many parts of the country that tourists probably do not get to see. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Fantastic Israel I just returned from a 19 day visit to Israel. I booked my tour through Shalom Journeys. I had such a great time. Israel is a beautiful and fascinating country which should definitely be visited. This was my first visit to Israel. Shalom Journeys was terrific to work with. They were very easy to work with. They took so much of the stress out of booking the trip by handling the details. They were very efficient and accommodating. They actually called me during various points of my trip to ask me how the trip was going. I would urge anyone going on a tour to Israel to use them. As for Israel, I will be returning again to see more of this wonderful country.

An amazing, once in a lifetime experience and vacation! Thank you Shalom Journeys! I usually do not write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after this amazing trip. My brother and I have been wanting to go to Israel for years and when we decided to do so, I did an an insane amount of research before choosing to go with Shalom Journeys.From the start, Jonathan was utterly incredible and always accessible to answer any questions. The pricing was fair and they even accommodated our request for extra long beds as we are both very tall. The trip itself was beyond smooth from pick-up, to drop-off and the itinerary was utterly unreal and incredible. The sights that we saw were jaw-dropping, the buses were comfortable and clean and the tour guides were kind, knowledgeable and really friendly; the tour guides really made the trip incredible. What I also liked was during the trip, I heard from the owners of Shalom Journeys several times to ask if all was well- a very personal touch that did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated.If I could give something higher than 5 stars, I would. A trip like this involves a ton of planning, a lot of moving pieces and the best decision that I made was to go with Shalom Journeys.
