Full of great recommendations for first timers, staff are extremely friendly and fun to talk too. Our server Chad was excellent and went above and beyond for us. The food was to die for, I personally ate too much. You certainly get your money's worth in food but the experience just makes it so much more worth it. 5 stars all the way through.

I wrote the original review below after a negative experience with the service. Only a few hours later I received a call from the owner who had reviewed the footage during our meal and apologized that the server was off his game today. She made things right and invited us back, and we definitely will be back! Thank you so much for reaching out, that speaks far more about this business than one server having an off day. Updated to 5/5 for the promptness and attention from the owner, as well as making things right.
We drove an hour to go to Sengs for lunch and unfortunately it just wasn't a great experience.
All the food tasted great and there was a great variety, but the service was disappointing. When spending over $200 on lunch (with tip) for 2 adults and 3 kids I expect more from the service. We did the ayce hot pot. The first round we ordered quite a few things, but didn't receive our beef balls, shrimp or garlic. We ran out of meat and were out quite a while before he came to take our second round order. We mentioned the missing items and did get the beef balls. On our last round we did finally get the shrimp, but I never got the garlic. It's even on the receipt.
The server was also just off-putting and kind of rude. There was only us and one other table but he seemed like we were a bother. We waited a long time for drink refills.
Just disappointed and not sure we'll be back. Which is a huge bummer since it's the only hot pot in the area :(
My husband and I had a Friday night reservation at 7:30. The staff was very friendly. Our server explained the menu to us very well as we had never been there before and he made some great recommendations. All the food was amazing!!! The garlic chicken and the cheesy corn were my favorite. It was such a fun date night!
Amazing service, fantastic dipping sauces, we did the BBQ and extremely happy we did, even just the "standard" we thought was extremely fairly priced for the huge portions and all you can eat style!
Server gave great instructions but a handout would be nice. Bit loud too but otherwise...
As long as you make a reservation in an hour or two in advance, you will have a GREAT time! Very fun interactive tasty dinner with full bar :)
Nice people. I like the idea and have gone with family or friends about 6 times total. Every single time I have gotten so sick except 1 time. Perhaps it is the marinade. Be careful if you are sensitive. I have tried changing what I cook there, but it just doesn't help. It makes my husband unwell too. It tastes pretty good, but it is difficult to get past the food being harder on the tummy.
They were very polite about our sensitivity to the food and they refunded. They care a lot about their customers. It isn't for us, but I am sure lot of people seem to enjoy it.

It's disappointing because I only live two minutes away from this restaurant and I know if I had a good experience, I would've have gone here every weekend with my family and friends. Unfortunately, I believe the only reason why this place was rated high is because there are no other Korean BBQ spots in Spokane. They have an all you can eat with a 90 minute time limit. The food was okay but it was the service that made it subpar compared to other restaurants. When you're paying approximately 40 dollars per a person and there's a time limit, you try to eat as much as you can and the servers should be able to refill/replace your orders as soon as you finish. You are paying for a service, the service is being served food, they don't cook it for you. I'm totally okay with cooking the food but when you don't have someone checking up on you, you're no longer capable to enjoy what you paid for because you can't continue eating or cooking. We came during lunch time, there seemed to be a Happy Birthday event going on which was fine. The restaurant itself still seemed empty because we had no trouble entering without a reservation and only saw two to three other groups. We had one server who came to us approximately two to three times in the first 15 minutes. The first time was to get our order, the second was to ask if we wanted to sign up for a loyalty program. The third time, I had to find him to ask for what we had already ordered 20 minutes ago. We were then ignored for the rest of the period and we never saw him again. The other four servers did not check up on us either despite our burnt grill (Which they're supposed to replace after two to three rounds of meat) and empty plates. I've worked in the restaurant business for four years, I understand completely what it's like to be busy during rush hours or events. However, you're delivering pre-cut meats which are marinated, cold vegetables, and steamed white rice, why is there prolonged wait? The majority of what was being served is uncooked meats, when there is no one to provide ample service for refills, it almost seems like it was drawn out on purpose because of the time limit then. Again, these are raw meats, the customer is the chef, I would completely understand if I had ordered fried rice and there was a wait time. The quality of some of the meats were decent, I liked the Teriyaki Pork Belly but I know from experience based on their Kimchi and other meat options, this is not authentic Korean BBQ. The cucumber slices were pre-cut and refrigerated which caused the exterior of the cucumber to be smooth and the texture similar to rubber. In addition, you have to pay for parking in their parking lot. It doesn't matter if your premium is 50 dollars with the best meats in the world, as long as there is no service provided, you will not get your money's worth. For anyone who is hoping to try this restaurant, I hope you have a better experience and please don't blame the restaurant if you get sick for not cooking the meats properly. I hope this restaurant may improve and succeed, I wish nothing but the best for this restaurant.

I have been twice now and the amount of delicious foods you get to eat in 90m is enough to send you into a coma. The service has been wonderful both times. Sarah was fun, welcoming and a great server. One owner stopped by to check on us as well. We are big fans!

Hi MICHAELA, sorry you didn’t feel well after eating. The marinades are sometimes too much for some people. Hopefully you’ll give it another shot. I would highly recommend toning it down a bit and try the hot pot. 🤙🏽
For years I have been telling my partner about how much I miss KBBQ and he'd never even heard of it.
FINALLY Seng's heard my cry and opened up a joint down town and then expanded it further to include hotpot as well.
I did not try the hotpot yet despite being there twice now because the bbq experience was so good.
Having the 90 minute limit is no hinderance for this all you can eat experience either as the staff are attentive (but not overly) and notice when it's about ready for a refill on protein or sides.
The sides are all to die for. I LOVE the kimchi fried rice and the steamed eggs are so weird but so silky and delicious. The spicy marinated daikon radish is my favorite with the kimchi and cucumbers. They are great palet cleansers. Obviously though the star of the show is the meats.
My partner really loves the Cajun shrimp and the spicy pork belly.
I'm a huge fan of the pork jowl and the new carne asada was so good. The bulgogi is another top contender though.
It's honestly all so good and you can cook to your personal liking and do a quick sear or make it nice and crispy.
My only complaint is that the music is a hindrance to the experience. It's already a loud experience with the cook tops in the middle of the table and the sizzling so people are naturally talking a little louder but then adding the music on top of it made me feel like I had to yell a few times and I noticed other tables also very loud likely due to the same.
The location really seems to be working through its learning bumps. The flow is smooth. The staff is so attentive and kind. It's truly a great experience and I'll be back soon!

The atmosphere and vibe is great , but the food and the servers are even better .The endless amounts of tasty 😋 foods that I ate there will have me chasing after it again and agin .The servers took there time to explain everything to me , but the food oh my the best! And by far the best new spot hands down .Looking forward to going back .
