The staff at SDM were fantastic helping me secure a tenancy, it was a very stressful time for me and their kindness and compassion really made the whole experience a lot less taxing, they kept me in the loop at every stage.

Kept me waiting over an hour to view a property, zero communication from them and I had to call the office twice to find out what was happening. Would have been nice for them to call me to let me know
Once the agent arrived we couldn’t gain access to my the property so I was unable to view it. After waiting an hour already the solution given was to come again the following day at the same time.
After explaining I didn’t need to view it and I was happy enough to start the paperwork on the studio flat I was told to email the office.
I emailed them explaining and then was asked to provide my personal details and ID.
Which I promptly did.
SDM didn’t get back to me after this point.
Despite attempting to contact I was left feeling irritated and annoyed at the lack of professionalism and communication.
If the property had been let, communication with a potential tenant would be appreciated.
Rather than zero correspondence or contact.

*Terrible Experience with SDM Property*
I recently had a disappointing experience with SDM Property. I visited a property based on the provided postcode and contact details. Upon arrival, I called the agent multiple times, but they responded rudely, claiming I was at the wrong location despite being on the same road. After finally finding the house number, I attempted to reach out to the agent again, but there was no response.
The agent's behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. The entire experience was a waste of time, and I would not recommend SDM Property to anyone. The lack of courtesy and responsiveness is appalling.

Inadequate and inappropriate correspondence, there is a staff wedding which has delayed tenancy sign up aswell as room still being unfurnished which could have been dealt with today if there was no wedding which I believe is unprofessional to allow that to interfere with appointments and furthermore the letting agent said 1-2 days moving in time, rearranged 3 days later to Friday to then have this incident and be told next week sometime, I can confirm SDM are unreliable, did not communicate appropriately and canceled the appointment through the council (50 minutes before appointment) so there was a delay significant enough to interfere with travel bookings and costs. However I have since recieved an email which has enlightened the situation. Since moving in the property is not kept or clean, room is untidy not hoovered let alone bio cleaned and made ready. However since highlighting this issue they said that the cleaners have made a mistake and should of cleaned however it was missed.

We have explained a few times that the room was not going to be ready today, you stated that you just need to get the keys and we was sending cleaners in to prepare the room which you did not mind. So we are a little unsure why you have left such a review. If you have any issues please call us.

I enquired about a flat that I was happy to take on, had contact with them on the first day and then they went radio silent after me sending my passport and details, no one then would answer my WhatsApps or phone calls, I had no updates and then the property came off the market the day after I received contact from them apologising for not contacting me. I tried calling multiple times and was promised the details for me to proceed would be sent across but never received them, abysmal service and if your landlord then you’d be waisting your time because they won’t connect you with tenants. They have pictures of my passport but can’t get in contact with them which is a concern in its self. A very odd business
