E-bike rebate: 48 hours not enough time to respond.
E-bike rebates: 48 hour reply time is an unrealistic expectation.
Received an email to confirm for a waitlist position Friday at 11pm, had to reposnd by monday at 9am. This gave me 0 business hours to respond and I was unable to access my email over the weekend as I was out of service. The FAQ states that " We believe that everyone who is on the list is serious about purchasing an e-bike and will act within the 48 hour window to submit an application." Being out of service on a weekend does not make someone any more or less serious about purchasing an e-bike. this is a bad policy.
We had a 2002 pathfinder that Nissan could not provide parts for so unfortunately we had to part with an otherwise fully operational vehicle. We scrapped it and received a A$300.00 rebate. I did have to do some minor follow up because maybe the wrecker was slow to process the paperwork. Scrap it always responds quickly and explained what I should expect time wise. All around good experience. Thanks
This worked out really well for us. You still have to jump through a few hoops, but we managed to recycle our vehicle which gave us a great reason to buy an electric bike. Read the fine print and it will all make sense.
I was very pleased with this whole experience! It was great to have all the rebate options available. I chose the E-bike rebate andTahira and the team were so helpful every step of the way - in particular extending the period of my eligibility due to a delay in receiving my E-Bike model. All my email questions were promptly answered. Thanks!
Solidly good experience. I never give a perfect review, so four out of five will have to do, but doing this online went surprisingly well and was unexpectedly fast. From original online application to scrap my old truck to arrival of $100 in my hands didn't even seem to take an entire week. A matter of days as I recall. Sweet.
Because these policies change, between 2021 when we ordered the car and between 2022 when we received the car, we where unable to claim initial funds of 6000$ and on the end even the 500$ because dealerships stooped participating in the program. Also, the scrap-it location was to far away, and it costed us 350$ to tow the car there!
