A friend recommended Scrap-It Junk removal after she had a wonderful experience with their business for an estate clean out. When I called for an estimate to have my childhood home cleared out for sale, Cynthia was a refreshing voice on the phone , a perfect front office representative for the company, and she quickly explained the process and scheduled an estimate that fit my schedule. They kept me updated throughout the day with text and email ETA reminders on time or arrival and they were right on time. Tye arrived for the estimate and walked me through the removal process: so professional, so polite, and explained the philosophy of donation partners and recycling. An written estimate came the same night and pricing was very reasonable for the amount of items and a whole house pack up and cleanout that they were performing.
The crew arrived on time, kept me in the know of ETA the morning of my scheduled clean out, and the owner Orville called to tell me they were in route. The Scrap-It team got right to work boxing and bagging an entire house full of heavy furniture , household items, old tools, wood, tile… you name it, they carted it out. The four man team were hard working, polite, and all with a smile despite the 95 degree day. Within a few hours the entire home, shed, and garage were empty. Tye called at the end of the clean out to insure all went well, that the cleanout was complete, and that I was happy with the process.
This company is AMAZING! They made an overwhelming process easy and affordable. From scheduling to estimate to completion of project, the communication and professionalism of this business was fantastic and an unusual breath of fresh air . I would highly recommend Scrap-It for all removal projects from small moving jobs to full estate cleanouts. They took the stress and worry and backbreaking work out of my estate cleanout and with wonderful communication and customer service that seems hard to come by these days.
