Sangam Resturent is the best restaurant in munich

Ich esse wöchentlich bei indische Restaurants deutschlandweit und habe daher eine gewisse Erfahrung. Ich bin recht enttäuscht von Sangam in München. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach gehalten, mit Stühle /Bänke aus rotem Kunstleder, und wenig indische Deko wie z.B. verziere Holztrennwände. Es sind lediglich indische Bilder an der Wand, das Restaurant erinnert an einem Straßencafe. Dafür sind aber die Preise zu hoch. Beim Eintritt merkt man einen intensiven Gewürzgeruch der schon unangenehm ist und fast am Putzmittel erinnert. (Ein wenig Duft wäre in Ordnung und trägt zur Ambiente bei aber das ist zu viel). Obwohl ich das mittagsmenu bestellt hatte und das Restaurant nur geschätzte 10 Gäste hatte dauerte es sehr lange. Das Essen war dann in Ordnung, das Peshwari naan extrem lecker, weshalb ich immerhin noch 2 Sterne vergebe.

Living nearby, I used to love Sangam when it opened. You see, I often travel to India and miss Indian food here. I even used to brag that Munich's best Indian place is just nextdoors of my place. Not anymore... Read it the end before you order or decide to go there... Today, after a walk, we passed buy. As we were hungry, we thought to pick up the food directly instead of ordering with delivery, it will be faster FAIL!! The waiter told us it will take about 30 minutes. We decided to wait. FAIL! We were standing near the entrance for 85 minutes!!! Of course all the waiters ignored us, nobody told us it would take longer. Had we known it will take 3 times what we were told, we would have waited at home comfortably and came back, or ordered online. Lieferando has a clear priority at this place, we saw 4-5 meals being taken before our order, even though they earn less with them. Otherwise the place was almost empty, 2, maybe 3 tables occupied. When I finally got the food and paid, I told them this was more than half an hour. (Note, we waited 90 minutes in the rain outside without them giving any update!) The waiter, instead of simply apologizing, became very arrogant and offensive. He said he told us 50 minutes and there is a lot going on today. (Note, 2 tables out of 60 occupied and 4 Lieferando orders.) Then he starting blaming his colleague, who mislead us with the 30 minutes. Which is true, it was not him. But it was him who ignored us, did not communicate with us, and did not even apologize, just rolled his eyes. Probably because I'm a woman, I don't deserve to be respected as a customer. GUYS, YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY COMMUNICATION! Nevertheless, I always say if the food is fresh&good, I happily forgive all the long waiting. FAIL!! We have noticed a decline in quality for the past 2 years, and today's experience was the worse. One dish was just blend, without salt and spices, the other had only a lot of chilly (even though in the menu it just shows little spicy, and we are used to eating habaneros, I can't imagine how it is for somebody not this trained) - but had nothing to do with the original dish, as known in India. I can't believe I paid almost 50 euros for such a bad food and experience. Munich has now luckily so many better (and cheaper) Indian options, this was Sangam's last chance with us.

Mucho tiempo de espera. Los meseros no se preocupan por sus clientes. Pasamos por ahí y decidimos llevar comida a casa. El mesero dijo que tardaría 30 minutos. Después de una hora nos dieron la comida. El mesero, en ningún momento, nos avisó que tardaría más y cuando intentaba preguntarle solo me ignoraba. Al confrontarlo solo dijo " tenemos mucho trabajo y muchos clientes", "mi colega les dijo 30 minutos, yo no!". Lamentablemente el sabor de la comida ha empeorado. Solía ser más original y con mejor sabor a especias. Los platillos que nos dieron solo picaban demasiado y no tenían ni suficiente sal. El staff de cocina no lleva cubrebocas.

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant ist sehr ausgezeichnet und die Basis ist auf indische Weise arrangiert und der Service ist mehr als wunderbar. Ich war darin und habe das Essen mehr als wunderbar probiert. Ich wünsche ihnen viel Erfolg, Ausdauer und Nachfolge in ihrer Kreativität und Auszeichnung, herzliche Grüße und danke ☺️

Wir waren hier spontan essen. Kellner etwas gelangweilt, Köche und Lieferteam kommen immer ohne Maske aus der Küche und hinter der Bar. Das Lokal wirkt auch etwas schmutzig und ungepflegt. Essen war lauwarm, schmeckte etwas langweilig. Kellner wusste selber nicht in welchem Gericht das vegetarische und das mit Huhn war. Gläser schmutzig.

The best restaurant I've visited !!

Worst place I ever ordered food from. I ordered a vegetarian dish, and they sent me chicken which took me a while to even understand. The delivery was also late. Money wasted and day spoilt, will never order again.

Das Restaurant ist 10 A ich empfehle es jeden der es bezuchen kann. Top Service, und Wunderschönes Schule und kostbar genießen das Essen Bedienung ist auch sehr. TOP TOP TOP ??
