This was an incredible experience for me, and a ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ gift to myself. I learned so much and have gained a great deal of confidence when it comes to starting seeds, feeding seedlings and nurturing plants throughout the stages of their life, through harvest. I am learning how to improve the health of my soil and thanks to Brijette’s Masterclass, I have a strong foundation going forward. Thanks for being such a patient, thorough teacher - I won’t hesitate to register for another workshop in the future!

Love many varieties offered. Love local businesses. Really good YouTube vids from time to time... Signed up for the Seed of the Month membership a year ago & unfortunately, been bummed out each month! $195 spent during my enrollment period of your "seed of the month".... Very few items were "Special" or even desired! Several times, I found the same seeds being offered {out of stock or not} for LE$$ than the average $5 each x3 = $15 per month. I hung in for a LOT Longer than I should have, hoping for and anticipating something truly "Special".... Utter Disappointment each and every month overall!! Just cancelled after receiving my April seeds.... I do like the description of the Aswad Eggplant, but the other choices not so much....again.

Haze- we are so sorry to hear this! We put a lot of effort into our Seed of the Month Club to offer something special to our customers. The program is designed to give our members first access to products we have very little stock of before they hit the website, rare items and unique seeds that are not easy to find. Each month growers get rare items that are seasonally appropriate and they can plant it that month.The other great advantage is that members are the first to be invited to events, farm tours and classes. We hope you took advantage of this while you were a member. I recognize that it is very hard to keep everyone excited since each grower has a different taste and desire of what they want from their seeds. We always take customer feedback seriously and will think about ways in which we can improve the program. If you are looking for a program that sends out more traditional seeds, that would be our Growing Together Membership that focuses on classic varieties each month and not rare and unique items. San Diego Seed Company 2-day Master Class was informative, hands on, and in the company of many friendly gardeners--I enjoyed every minute of it! I was able to gain more knowledge for planting in Zone 9b along with validation to what I am already doing as a novice gardener.

Took the gardening MasterClass and learned so much on how to grow a successful fruit and vegetable garden for my family. As an added bonus it sparked a new love and interest in starting a cut flower garden. Bought some dahlia tubers in 2023… they shipped quickly and every tuber ended up sprouting! They were a beautiful mix of different colors and the blooms lasted through the summer. I recently bought some more and am excited to plant even more this year. Their selection seems to have increased this season, with tons of incredible varieties that I’ve never even heard of. Would also recommend their huge variety of tomato seeds. Tiny Tims are a favorite here!

I purchased some dahlia bulbs on a whim and had no idea where or how to plant them, as I usually have limited luck with flowers. Brijette and her team guided me through the whole process and I ended up with so many brilliant blooms! Now I feel confident enough to try some other varieties and expand my garden even more next year. Import Tubers? No communication. I wanted to support a small California company and mostly am interested in how they focus on regionally adapted seeds. When Dahlias became available, I assumed that these would meet the same criteria and be from their farm. Unfortunately, after spending $100 on tubers, they arrived with many broken necks and some without visible eyes. The condition of these reflect imported tubers, not at all what I expected or wanted for numerousreasons! While I've been more than pleased with customer service up to this point, the lack of response to my inquiries has led me to leave a poor review and I'm leaving two stars only because of my previous cs interactions. Very disappointing and hope they decide to be transparent and communicative going forward.

I've been using SDSC seeds for a couple of years and have very good results. I'm in love Chantenay Carrots! I also love the surprise pack of seeds I may receive with my order.
