Very understaffed
Pros:Unlimited pto nice coworkers young company Cons:understaffed low pay high turnover
Good place
I was hard working lady I worked 14 months without notice angcy called me no work don’t come to work …… I was shocked what they saying work load go down but it’s not true I m still in depression I have get no job really upset .;;;I think inside politics going that’s why good worker thought out management is really bad Pros: No
Great Workplace Culture
Pros:Company is very active in creating a positive workplace. Flexible with timings and PTO. Cons:Pay is below industry standard.
Not worth the hype
Pros:Free rugs and soft sweaters Cons:Company was disorganized Lots of circling around Lack of training
House of cards; avoid at all costs
Pros:- High degree of autonomy - Broad scope of responsibility and exposure - Industry-leading brand and product - Flexible working hours and PTO Cons:- 25th percentile cash compensation (outside of upper management) and paltry raises - Year-end bonuses routinely disappoint and get paid on a significant delay - Equity is overvalued, distributed in very small amounts, and vests on a long schedule - Promotions now given only every 3-5 years -- laughable at a "startup" - Forced RTO (3 days/week) to offices that are devoid of culture - Top-heavy organization led by overpaid, inexperienced senior leaders - Multiple rounds of botched layoffs and frequent no-warning terminations - Company struggles to meet even conservative budget targets - Decision-making is opaque and poorly communicated - Greedy and incapable senior leaders, including: ---> President: still hasn't been designated CEO after >1 year leading the company ---> COO: came in with only 2 years of work experience ---> Head of Product: has no business as anything other than a plant manager ---> VC investor: threatens to sue anything that moves ---> PE investor: demands unrealistic growth without any productive guidance Advice to Management:Get a grip and quit telling the Board, employees, and candidates how great everything is going at the company. Changing the strategy every time an investor whines only exposes your incompetence and makes life harder for everyone you employ. Hand over the reins to more capable leaders before you destroy what's left of a once-great company.
Great people but poor management team
There were too many changes in the project and extended hours of work. There are too many layoffs and uncertainty about the future. The company has excellent products but lacks good management.
Rapid changes
Pros:Free snacks in the kitchen Cons:Rapid changes in management and product direction.
Overworked and unappreciated
they will happily fire experienced employees immediately before bonus eligibility in order to dump the workload on another employee hired later and at a lower title to save a buck. Promotions suspended nearly across the board while many employees have met and exceeded the scope of their position without being properly rewarded or recognized. Limited career advancement opportunities with many people doing the work of 2-3 people, outside of their area of expertise, but denied any sort of title bump. I came in with high hopes and the explicit promise of rapid advancement at a fun and dynamic company. By the end it was reduced to a shell of its former self with everyone I knew unhappy, overworked, and any semblance of "culture" shattered by the uniquely awful way they went about the multiple layoffs of the last ~6 months.
Productive and fun working environment
Worked with a great team when I first started. New management came in and things changed of course. They changed the structure of customer support and we had to do tasks that were specially told initially we wouldn't have to do. But overall great company.
Good experience, not great leadership
Pros:Got a lot of good experience Cons:The layoff was handled terribly
Inconsistent leadership
Pros:When it’s great, it’s great. Generally good corporate culture. There’s an effort of transparency. Cons:Frequent org changes and road map direction, uneven workload,
Fair pay. Poor organizational leadership
Pros:the compensation package was competitive Cons:re-orgs and layoffs very frequently, lack of organization among leadership
Terrible return policy
I had a terrible experience trying to return two rugs. The colors didn't work for my space, and their return process was overly complicated. They wouldn't allow me to return both rugs together and charged a $25 Handling fee for each rug. I've never encountered such a fee that seems designed to discourage returns.
I ended up exchanging one rug and returning the other, but the replacement rug also didn't work out. This meant another $25 fee and shipping costs. It was the most frustrating return experience I've ever had, and I'll definitely avoid buying rugs from them in the future. Sounds like one month free return. But they just kept 75 dollars handling fee from my order and I got nothing
0 stars. Crap quality polyester rugs. Insane return fees!
0 stars if I could. Crap quality polyester rugs. They don't even offer cotton or wool rugs.
But the worst is their $25 per item (even when shipped together) return fee. Highway robbery! They clearly are not concerned with repeat customers...just getting away with what they can until they go out of business. AVOID!
Ruggable
Pros:Unlimited PTO and supportive team Cons:There are too many changes
Great customer service!
Great customer service if you have anything go wrong with your rug however their pricing is a bit to high for what you receive which is why I didn't give them 5 stars.
STAY AWAY, Terrible Leadership, Toxic Male-Dominated Work Politics
Pros:>Unlimted PTO >Everyone but upper leadership are the most intelligent, kind, and hard working people I've ever worked alongside Cons:For starters, the company is running itself to the ground. They have an entire team of incredibly driven and smart talent but they are ruining it with every mass layoff, lack of promotions, constant re-orgs, constant "shifts" in priorities, leaving everyone in at least 1 of 3 positions: (1) scared of losing their job (2) completely burnt out from too many layoffs and/or (3) completely unmotivated to complete any tasks that will take longer than 1 week because it will likely be scrapped or you'll be laid off by the next week. Upper management / extended leadership have no idea what they are doing and are so insecure that they lay off anyone who goes against their decisions or questions their leadership. Its chaotic and inexperienced at best and toxic misogyny at worst; it's clear they favor white men over anyone else so unless you're an ex-consultant and/or a white male - good luck getting promoted. . They are completely out of touch, inexperienced, and seem extremely frantic all the time. I honestly have no idea what they get paid to do except slow us down in our day-to-day with their "urgent updates" and constant "shifts in priorities." I've also asked for a job description and detailed roles and responsibilities of my job as well as the title above me since the first day I started working here and I'm still waiting... HR couldn't even tell me what my job title was the last time I spoke with them! They also implemented a return-to-office policy and tried to frame it as something WE asked for stating that we "all wanted to feel more connected with each other at the company" and they said that coming into the office will "increase productivity" (load of BS). We went from optional hybrid to on-site 3x week (mon-wed). As someone who has always been a full-time and/or hybrid office employee due to the nature of my job, I can tell you for sure that no one asked for this. Then they told us that they would be taking feedback and updating things as needed, many people asked what metrics they used to measure current productivity and how are they assessing if productivity actually increases? We also asked if the feedback was unanimously negative would they walk back return-to-office? And of course they did not address either questions/feedback. I have survived 2+ layoffs, countless re-orgs, a change in CEO and time and time again they never fail to let their employees down. Also speaking of, when it comes to layoffs this place is insane with how they handle them. If you're lucky enough to get more than an email - I heard you get about 30 seconds with your manager, 0 time to ask your manager questions, then the rest of the time is spent with HR who literally knows nothing about you or your department. Stay away from this company at all costs. Advice to Management:Stop circle jerking each other and stroking your egos and actually listen to your team, promote qualified people not just white male ex-consultants, stop laying people off who actually have experience and intelligence.
STAY AWAY! NOT WORTH IT.
Pros:-Unlimited PTO. -Space to try and learn things. -Free rugs and furniture when Levity went out of business. Cons:-Inexperienced management team. -Politics and nepotism. If you're not a personal friend of management, you will be overlooked for positions and shifts. -No work life balance if you're working in operations. -3 layoffs which brought moral of the manufacturing team super low, but management never cared to check on their employees. -Managers consistently talking negativity about hourly employees. -Employee Engagement and Culture at an all time low. Advice to Management:Hire or promote managers that actually want the best for the employees and not themselves. Managers would work 6 hours, 4 days a week and no care about what's going on afterwards. Serious disconnect with everyone.
Review
Pros:Great colleagues. Good product. Decent pace of work. Cons:Inexperienced leadership team. Messy politics. Lack of growth
