The rooms are spacious and clean. This is my 5th stay here and the place is running a bit old and aircon controller and door knob need to replace. Lights are so dim in the room and the food served here doesn't taste as before. However the beds are comfortable enough to sleep. The air con is noisy and not cold.
Mixed feelings about this hostel! The location is perfect, really close to the night market and Pub Street, which was great. Most of the staff were really helpful (especially the smiley lady who was working in the morning!), and they organised bicycle hire for us to explore Angkor Wat. The rooms themselves weren't ideal, no curtains and therefore no privacy, lots of bunks and lots of mosquitoes! The lack of curtains meant when people got up for their sunrise tours, the whole room was woken up, and we resorted to making our own curtains out of towels. The bathrooms were mostly clean and were quite big which was good but throughout the whole hostel there were signs listing fines they would impose if anything was broken or rules that you had to abide by which made the atmosphere a little hostile. It wasn't particularly social when we were there either! Overall, it's probably serviceable for a few nights, and we appreciated the air-con after our days cycling around the temples, but I would not stay again!
