Fantastic experience from start to finish. Quite honestly I had very little idea what I was talking about, no idea of the choices available or the potential costs I may be facing. My initial contact was with Jake Davies, who took the time to explain everything he thought relevant and didn’t complicate or try to blind me with science. I was able to stay with Jake throughout the whole process and I am indebted to him and Royale Stones as I feel they underpromised then overdelivered. Jake Davies is a credit to the company.

I ordered some kitchen tiles from Royal Stones and sadly when they arrived we felt they were not the same tiles that i had ordered on the website. There was was a 42m2 order. I spoke with Steve who went above and beyond to find me darker ones within the company. He was courteous, friendly, efficient and very understanding. He managed to source darker ones that he sent me images of first, and once i confirmed he got them out to me the next day. The collection for the other ones came the same day. It was impeccable customer service. I cannot fault it. Today we discovered several broken tiles at the bottom of our pallette and as soon as i contacted this gentlemen, he said ill arrange replacements immediately. What more could we ask for. The tile quality is fab and im delighted with the product. We have also previously used Royal Stones for our patio and will definately use again.

Great company to deal with and their products are excellent. We ordered the smooth and sawn Indian sandstone paving for our new patio terrace and they look superb. We had to order some extra and Lavish was very helpful in arranging a quick delivery enabling us to finish the job.

I bought over 120 pieces of porcelain garden tiles, after checking all in perfect condition. I recommend this store, they have a lot of beautiful tiles.

Shockingly bad - sent completely wrong sample which luckily I realised before ordering; sent 4 pallets knowing limited access at property (£60 surcharge) then left them dumped for a week in a third party yard and demanded I pay half of a further £600 to get them delivered! Had to pay someone else to collect goods; Kandla Grey Sandstone was very poor quality with brown stains and heavy rust spots and very inconsistent colouring (see photos!); the replacements they sent were even worse; spent 4 months trying to resolve issues and eventually had to threaten court just to get my £60 "delivery surcharge" (!!!) refunded but after 4 months of grief I have paid FULL PRICE thousands of pounds for the most abysmal service and below-average stones. Avoid! REPLY: Funny how RS can reply to a bad review in 40 minutes compared to 4 months of hassle dealing with them as a customer!! We have pallets delivered to us on a weekly basis without problems for our business, Royale Stones simply didn't want to take responsibility once they'd sent the pallets out... it should not be my job as a customer to waste 2 days finding and paying someone else to rescue (!) our goods when they 'd been paid to do it. And whilst there might be a degree of natural variation in sandstone, these were really poor and we only asked for replacements to finish the job (not the other 10-15sqm left over of broken, rusted and discoloured stone!!). And yet they are still happy to keep 100% of what I paid for this lousy service...

Hi Mark, We are sorry to hear about your experience. In terms of delivery, we are really sorry as we know you were let down. Unfortunately being 4 ton of slabs and delivery point being very far to Newton Abbott, we have to rely on courier and on this occasion they were not helpful at all. We also asked 2 other networks, who also declined as during that time all the hauliers were extremely busy. However we did refunded your collection cost of £360 from local depot and later £60. In regards to brown stains, its part of being natural colour variation in sandstone and even if you see our website images it's visible. We do offer Kandla Grey sandstone in porcelain version, which avoid any excessive shade/colour variation. We do think that 5m2 of variation tiles out of 76m2 you complained about could have been easily blended. However we still did send extra tiles to find resolution and keep you happy, which we failed again. We can only apologise again that on this occasion we failed and will take it as a learning. Worst customer service ever. I had the wrong tiles delivered to me yesterday, this has delayed the building work taking place and resulted in me having to pay for few extra days labour. It takes absolutely ages to get through to anyone via the telephone, it took me 10 attempts before I finally got through to someone by the name of Ross. He sounded like he had me on loud speaker, as everything he said echoed and I couldn't hear him clearly. Secondly he wanted images to evidence they were the wrong tiles delivered, even though I had emailed them as one of the boxes came torn, so we could see a chipped tile and the name of the tiles on the box was incorrect. I asked what he will do to compensate for the inconvenience caused, and extra money I have to pay to the builder, to which he replied he would need to speak to a manager. I then got an email from Lavish. For the hold up to our building work and extra cost of labour he offered a free bottle of tile cleaner! It’s an absolute joke, if a client had ordered more tiles by mistake or need to return them, then you have to pay for them to be picked up, however when the company makes a mistake you get offered tile cleaner! I also had incorrect emails prior to my wrong tiles being delivered, that were supposed to be sent to another customer. Very unsatisfactory experience. The company does not understand the importance of good customer service especially when I'm a returning customer. (Received another email this morning from Lavish apparently they can't offer compensation but can give £35 cashback once I send pictures of the completed project, what a joke. He has the audacity to ask for pictures after project completed so that they can advertise the tiles, but can't give compensation and have to wait for the joke of a £35 cashback when it's costing me more to pay for labour) Update Once again on the response to my review, you've got the wrong tiles, I've ordered polished finish tiles not sugar finish tiles. I'm hoping my re-delivery is not incorrect again. Update on 13/09/22 Geraldine from customer service contacted me, to apologise for the poor service provided to me previously and kindly compensated me with £60 due to the inconvenience caused. She was friendly and helpful and would have been good to receive this kind of customer service from the start. I've changed my review from 1 star to 2 star, as first impressions always make an lasting impression.

Hi Ritesh, We sincerely apologise about mistakenly sending the polished tiles instead of sugar finish. Although rare but sometimes human error happens during picking and packing process. This mistake also resulted in us loosing delivery and return costs, which being heavy goods is a bit high. However to resolve the issues this was dealt promptly. It's mentioned on our website that delays can happen due to unforeseen circumstances and we always advice to book tiler/landscaper to once you have received and checked the goods. We are sorry but we don't offer any compensation, still offered £35 cash back as a goodwill gesture in exchange for finished images, which is the most we can offer in this situation.
