As a returning customer, I was genuinely excited to recommend this venue for a birthday celebration. We booked a table for 15 people for a bottomless brunch, but unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.
Firstly, the price had increased by £5 per person between the time of booking and the day we attended. On top of that, the menu had changed and several drinks that were previously included in the bottomless package had been removed. Paying more for fewer options was disappointing before we had even started.
The Pornstar Martinis were honestly some of the worst cocktails I’ve ever been served. I know this venue is capable of making excellent cocktails, as we could see neighbouring tables receiving well-presented drinks, while ours were consistently watery, no prosecco shot or passion fruit, and tasted more like diluted fruit juice and a red colour rather than a classic Pornstar Martini. When we raised the issue, we were told that ordering the same drinks would allow the bar staff to make them “better and faster” which only left us wondering why they weren’t being made properly in the first place.
The food was equally disappointing. I’ve had the Chicken Caesar Salad here before and always enjoyed it, but this time it was completely different. The chicken was dry and overcooked, the lettuce consisted mostly of the hard white core, and it arrived without croutons or sufficient dressing. For a brunch costing £45 per person, the quality fell far below expectations.
To make matters worse, the service was poor throughout. Our server was dismissive and often ignored requests for drinks, which is particularly frustrating during a bottomless brunch where timely service is part of what you’re paying for.
It’s such a shame, as I’ve enjoyed this venue in the past and felt confident recommending it for a large birthday celebration. Unfortunately, it only takes one experience like this to put you off returning, and I was genuinely embarrassed to have chosen and recommended this venue for such an important occasion.

Poor Service at rooftop gardens
Food was not outstanding, they failed to ask if we had allergies. We ordered Decaf tea and was accidentally supplied Lemon and Ginger as the wrong tea was put in the container. Was only offered English tea as na alternative. Service was slow even with it being quiet. Auto 10% service charge added.

Awful experience, ordered a Korean chicken burger and chips, both came too cold to eat. Chips were replaced, chef was sent out with the burger I had returned with a thermometer sticking out of it. I felt embarrassed and accepted it as I felt pressured. Subsequently, I had to leave half of it as cold and inedible. Mixed service from staff. I would advise to avoid.

Beware Hidden Sevice Charge
Great food and friendly service. Having tipped our server personally on departure we asked for our reciept, only to find an unadvertised Service Charge. Rather disappointed to see this on the reciept as it was not advertised on the menus. Otherwise a lovely visit and meal. Our starters were lovely my Ribeye was a perfect medium rare and my wifes Sea Bass was perfect, an enjoyable meal with great atmosphere

Pretentious bar
Visited a friend in Norwich and it was a Thursday about 5pm . In an old office building at the top. Views of the city but not exceptional. Fake flowers everywhere in the outside space and a tatty place that has its best days firmly behind it. About 5 customers and gaming tables to drum up money. Don’t bother !

Job interview - actually trial shift with no communication
Went for a job interview, was greeted by Andrew (forgive me if that's the wrong name it was a very quick introduction) and was immediately directed to the bar. I queried with him that I was there for an interview, and was not informed about doing a trial shift. He explained that he liked doing a bit of both so I agreed to stay, thinking I'd be on bar for half an hour-ish. I was left with 2 new people who had 5 days of experience total between them, so they were put on the spot trying to answer any questions I had. They were both lovely people, and the bar supervisor was chill as well. An hour passes, no sign of the manager coming to retrieve me from the bar for the interview section. No other staff member knows where he is when I asked. So I just left, no interview and an hour of free work given to someone who had no regard for my time. Really disappointed with the whole experience.
Such a beautiful place with potential, which is what made it even more disappointing when you step out the lift and get club vibes as the music is sooo loud. It needs to be a restaurant untill a certain time and then a club or one or the other! The food that came out…..when we finally managed to order was lovely! The staff were doing their absolute best amongst a chaotic and confused atmosphere. Several diners were in the same situation as us trying to order food and drinks. When the food did come out the waiter/barman was clearly lost as there was very poor order to table communication. We noticed no tables were numbered and staff voiced several times that table plans were messed up! We need to emphasise again how incredible it could be, once it’s decided what it wants to be!!

Great location but overall very poor value for money. Limited menu and not very well executed, could not finish the food. Limited drinks available, not very good choices. Decor a bit scruffy, especially "the living wall" a lot of which looked dead. The only plus being an honest server who agreed with us and discounted the meal. Will not be returning unless there are major changes.

To be honest we already knew the food was over priced and average from previous visits but the sun was shining and location is stunning so like fools we came back. Waited 45 minutes for a glass of wine, asked several staff, several times and it was like the first they had heard of it. Restaurant was half full, if that, plenty of staff but total chaos. They need a leader as no one knows what they are doing. We just left in the end. Definitely wont come back until taken over by someone who knows what they are doing. All over priced because location is stunning. We walked over to Rivolo in the end. Stunning location by the river, half the price and great food and service.

Myself and 3 friends went on a sunny Saturday afternoon for cocktails. We had pre booked a table and were promptly seated but advised there was no table service. Firstly, the outside area was very busy but looked like a bomb had gone off. Empty plates and glasses were everywhere. The staff were clearly overwhelmed by the volume of customers however i did notice the staff were not working with any sense of urgency and had no desire to clean or tidy. There is clearly no leader or anyone giving directions or allocating job roles. I waited at the bar for over 20 minutes for a drink. There were 2 staff serving drinks, one of whom was the slowest bar person i have ever witnessed in my bar hopping career. The other member of staff didn't know whether to serve the bar or serve the orders form the tables. The DJ was brilliant but at 7pm they pulled the plug becasue they just couldnt cope. A venue with so much potential but with no leadership, this will unfortunately only go one way.
Had a small wedding reception (28 guests in total) on the castle terrace. The staff were really attentive and made the day.
We were lucky enough to have a singer in the main bar who became our entertainment for the evening who was brilliant.
